Legit skilling- best moneymaking?

What is the best skill to do to make money now? I was thinking maybe rocktails (fishing) or red chins (hunter). As prices will increase for a while now, I think many commonly botted skills will become better for making money.

Also, how much money would a high/mid level account make at frost dragons/hour.
The account I would be using has 85 Attack 99 Strength 70 Defence, C rapier, and 55 prayer. I was thinking about just doing frost dragons to make cash and sell it but if it isnt going to make much it isn't worth it.

 

Rocktails is good cash but is boring as watching grass grow... Just flip or something, as for frost drags currently around 1.3-2.1m an hour easily just use a cannon

 

Would flipping be my best bet if I have a 110M cash stack? Or should I go with frost dragons? I remember being able to get around 1M an hour at frost dragons but you always have to pay attention where as flipping you can do other things...

 

Fuck me go flipping, 110m cash pile is easy money to be made, if your new to flipping try common items and commodities, like sharks and runes but if you have prior knowledge try ranger boots or god swords. Ranger boots are very good at the moment.

 

Cut yews! I just spent 6 hours getting 500 worth about 250k or so. It was AWESOME.


Serious: Make tabs or do things that a bot would usually do.

I think I will go with flipping then thanks. I used to flip prior to bot nuke when there were loads of flipping bots and amateur price manipulators that ruined flipping. I just havent had time to get back into it yet

 

Cballs are great money at the moment. 300-500k / hr

 

Frost dragons are really good money at the moment. A good friend of mine PM'd me today and said he was hunting red chins and making a shitload as they are now over 1k each. I'll bet that the aviansies in GWD are practically empty now too, aswell as Green and Blue Dragons. If you get bored of any of these repetitive PvM tasks then you could always go try your luck at the Revs for an hour or 2 in forinthry dungeon. It can be great cash!

Flipping is great too. You could always go hunt chins/kills dragons etc. until your offers in the GE buy/sell, teleport back to collect the money and put in new offers, then back to training. Green drags in the wilderness are not nearly as crowded as they used to be, and its fairly close to GE if you are going back and forth constantly to collect money and put in new offers.

 

Yeah, Aviansies are empty - getting KC for Arma has never been so easy . Since the Addy Bars are noted, and the other reliable drop is high alchable (Rune Dagger P+), you can camp there for ages training range and making a nice profit along the way. Even during a short run of 40 kills (like 10 mins of killing once you are in the area) just getting KC for Arma, I typically get about 50 Addy Bars and a few Rune Daggers - and that's without a Ring of Wealth!

Red Chins would be another good source at the current price. You can get a few hundred per hour, so if you are ok with 300kish per hour that would be a simple way to go.

Or, you could always get your stats up (Summoning too of course ) and do my favourite - boss hunting. Nothing feels better than getting a Sigil split at Corp, a hilt split at Arma, or a split from Nex If you do end up wanting to go bossing sometime after training a bit, and want advice on gear or tactics, shoot me a PM and I'll try to help.

 

Yes, Aviansies are actually one of my favourite methods of money making. I haven't been there for months but that is only because of the bots. The reason it is so great is because you can literally camp there for WEEKS if you bring enough Bones-to-peaches tablets. They drop 4 noted addy bars at a time, every 2-3 kills, and they also very commonly drop dragonstone gems, rune dagger (p++) and rune limbs. So make sure you bring a bunch of runes for alching, because I usually make 1-2M CASH per trip, just from alching small rune items! (this is not counting the millions of gp worth of addy bars).

The requirements for GWD are low too... I would reccomend 70+ defence, 70+ ranged and either 60 strength or 60 agility to access the dungeon. Read up on some guides and select your armour setup and you are good to go My favourite setup is a ranged-tank setup because I am low defence.

Also, Sillymonkey - What is your combat level ingame? I have really been wanting to check out some of the GWD bosses and may need some tips/techniques, or links to quality guides or videos so I can learn before I get started. Maybe even a duo if you were interested? I am a fairly high combat, and maxed out except for 75 defence, except I only started playing again in June and so I am kind of a noob and am yet to experience many things ingame, like bossing I have all the cash/gear and anything else I would need though, turmoil etc. Send me a PM if you can!

 

I don't really use the time to skill. Usually I just get stats up for nex and do that for my long term of moneymaking + Merching which is very beneficial if you have a huge cash stack. Prob 100m+ to start making decent amount of cash.

But if you suggest skilling , I'd say Buy a shit load of Pure Essense and start doing arymdyl runes which makes a shitload of cash. Its like 2k per rune I think? which if you have 99 runecrafting you can make at least 200+ per trip. I'm not sure since I haven't really tried them
