It's all good, let people be free, let them smoke their weed. :)

I'm perfectly fine with it, won't do it myself, but hey if it makes people feel good then i'm all for it. :D

    Legalize Marijuana?

You could have done a much better job with this topic by simply asking why they support it.

I support it because, for me, its the ultimate stress relief and it has so many medical uses, so if used with self control, it actually benefits you.

    So i am For it.

    Legalize Marijuana?

It truly is. I actually have some friends that used to be depressed and they tried anti-depressants, which only worked a little bit, but they ended up trying Marijuana and they loved it, got over depression, made a lot of new friends (pot head friends, which are nice people most of the time). It's an all natural plant, you don't even have to add anything to it, it is naturally grown with THC in it and all the other chemicals in it.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I am for marijuaja. I am because for one, it DOES help prevent some cancers. It is also less addicting and less dangerous than cigarettes and if it was legalized, they could pass laws on it to make it so it is illegal for it to be laced. Another thing is that it would help cut down some crime. Drug dealers would stop selling it which would in turn, (hopefully) cut down on violence.

    Legalize Marijuana?

^ Yes, drug dealers would stop selling *Marijuana*.

Not other potentially life threatening drugs though.

Keep it illegal, bush shouldn't be taxed and regulated, its forbidden use is half the fun.

    Legalize Marijuana?

In a nutshell, the world would be a better place if it was legal. What's forbidden is wanted most.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I admit it's dangerous for driving under the influence of Marijuana but when you're high you feel like you're in a dream, but you still have all your senses of right and wrong. When I'm high I don't ride my bike around because I realize everything is rocking back and forth and I can't keep my balance, same thing applies when you're driving, you're not going to drive because you know that everything is rocking back and forth and you're dizzy and can't control anything. When you're drunk you have no idea what's going on, you think everything is fine and you don't know what's right from wrong, that's why the common wife beater drinks alcohol because it makes him more aggressive and puts him out of his normal state of mind which makes him more angry or dangerous. High just strengthens your emotions and you feel a little uforia up the arms and your head.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I am for legalising Cannabis however not the recreational and 'to get off scott free ' reasons many people are...

The retail of cannabis illegally has created a 'shadow economy' or a 'black market' in several world SUPERPOWERS including the USA and the UK. This illegal cannabis is completely unregulated and has led to the stipulation that cannabis is in fact deterimental to the health of those who use it.

This is FALSE. Cannabis in its pure state has a short term effect, which everyone knows about the 'High'. This 'High' is a very mild relaxant and in fact it has been proven that paracetomal/aspirin has a higher mortality rate than cannabis... Pure cannabis however is not what you are likely to receive from your local dealer. The shadow economy has no regulatory system and therefore ANYTHING can be put in it.. and quite literally ANYTHING is put into it. Skunk a super strong form of cannabis has been found to be containing traces of horse tranquilisers. Furthe types of cannabis have been found to contain traces of heroin and crack/cocaine.

If cannabis were to be legalised well the regulatory system would put an end to the use of such DANGEROUS additives to the cannabis and consumers would instead be smoking relatively safe cannabis and the common misconception of skitzofrenia, which cannabis has not been proven to cause will be removed.

Further there will ALWAYS be a shadow economy for illicit drugs. I.E people will always be buying and supplying cannabis, there will always be money in this sector. In fact the cannabis economy in the USA is said to be over $6 Billion. So if we can do nothing to prevent the economy of cannabis existing then why don't governments not just legalise it and make USE of this shadow economy as the american government did with alcohol. Taxes can be applied to the cannabis as are done to cigarettes and in a time of recession like we are experiencing at the moment this extra money will be MOST WELCOMED...

These are just a few of my views feel free to comment.

It would be extremely rare to find the substances you mentioned in cannabis. If some cannabis did for some reason contain heroin, crack cocaine etc. it would be because the weed was handled where those other drugs may have been and the tiny amounts would be insignificant.

    Legalize Marijuana?

This is true. I jus googled it after seeing this, becasue I too have heard this and never knew for sure. But here is a link to a website with statistics.

    http://drugwarfacts.org/cms/?q=node/30

    Tobacco 435,000
Poor Diet and Physical Inactivity 365,000
    Alcohol 85,000
    Microbial Agents 75,000
    Toxic Agents 55,000
    Motor Vehicle Crashes 26,347
Adverse Reactions to Prescription Drugs 32,000
    Suicide 30,6223
    Incidents Involving Firearms 29,000
    Homicide 20,3084
    Sexual Behaviors 20,000
All Illicit Drug Use, Direct and Indirect 17,000
    Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Such As Aspirin 7,600
    Marijuana 0

Even if the death is linked to marijuana it's never the only drug that has been used. Meaning the person who commited homocide/suicide/overdose/etc. wasn't JUST on marijuana, there were other drugs involved.

EDIT: It says so here on the linked page...

    9. An exhaustive search of the literature finds no credible reports of deaths induced by marijuana. The US Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) records instances of drug mentions in medical examiners' reports, and though marijuana is mentioned, it is usually in combination with alcohol or other drugs. Marijuana alone has not been shown to cause an overdose death.

    Legalize Marijuana?

I support legalization of Marijuana, but are there any recorded deaths from car accidents that were caused because of the use of Marijuana. Because I know when I'm high I can't even ride my bike, lol I've tried and things didn't work out well.

    Legalize Marijuana?

It's fun up to the point of getting caught and convicted with it.

There is no real reason that it should be kept illegal. And it isn't a fear of health issues either. Yes, legalize it.

Jus going off the statistics... And as it said in them, in almost all if not all of those accidents, they weren't JUST on marijuana, they were under the influence of other drugs too.

    Legalize Marijuana?

Yeah, that's probably what most cases are. I've seen on the show cops that the police pull over people driving under the influence of Marijuana but their driving wasn't really that bad they were going a little off their lane. When you're high you're probably paranoid and worried to not crash so in other words it's a lot safer than being drunk and if alcohol is legal then Mary Jane should be legal.

Oh true, well if you want to live in a World of no life dick heads roaming around the streets then good for you, let them do it illegally and stay in there own houses, if not then they will just cause shit on the streets. I'm not saying alcohol isn't bad, people act more stupid over that, I know but if it got legalized, then there will just be a bunch of faggots rolling round the streets.
