Legality of neon underglows?

I've been wanting to put some neon lights on the bottom of my car, but I can never find certain answers, does anyone know the legality of it in Wisconsin ?

 

Ask your local police officer. See what he says. Put them on your scooter if you have one. much cooler Whats the worst they can do a ticket and a wrist slap. If you're truley worried go ask google. Reasearch til your keyboard dies.

 

Possibly illegal socially, i'd say they are a bit dated personally. Maybe if it was 2002 id go for it.

As long as they are not distracting to other drivers, i think they are OK

 

Dont over do it with a light show ya know.

 

To be honest, your going to look a like a bit of a penis with neon's. Its much better to have a more standard looking nice car. Your just going to draw attention to yourself and sometimes in the wrong way.

 

I don't think underglow is illegal in any state. I think it's just illegal to use the colour(s) red or blue, because these are reserved for emergency vehicles.. any other colour should be acceptable

 

Yeah i'd go with you on this Fendle, Only time its really acceptable is in Fast and Furious 1+2

 

They're illegal here in Virginia, but Virginia is crazy strict about their cars.

 

don't have red or blue and don't have the light flashing at all. in some states it's only legal to have the lights on in parking lots/private property also
