Is anyone else getting emails from them? I'm assuming it's a phishing link since I haven't RWT at all, but just to make sure if anyone else is getting these emails from them? Not clicking the link either.

If it's asking to enter your username and password on a site, it is most definitely a phishing attempt. Just ignore it and mark it as spam. I haven't played in a while but if I remember correctly Jagex messages your inbox in game if it wants to contact you.

I figured. It came in my junk mail folder anyway. Will mark it as spam.

yeah these little guys have been going around for a good while. never trust anything that isnt in your player inbox or a response from an email you personally sent. ive seen screenies of these particularly good phishing attempts, looks pretty damn legit.

Email honestly looked legit, but then again I thought about why would it be sent to my junk email. Marked it as a phishing scam. Thanks everyone.

It's just header spoofing - if you use gmail or some other secure email it will let you know but hotmail is shit all around

Yeah you should use Gmail, gmail has a built in thing where it KNOWS if it's spam automatically, ton's of more detection than hotmail. Never trust anything that asks you to enter your pass or user.

If it doesn't come to you ingame then don't ever worry about it.

I recently got a message from [email protected]. They claimed that i was under suspicion for Real World Trading. Found it funny. Didnt even dare to click on the link they sent though.
