Legal issues with RWT?

I have over 12b in rs gold and want to start selling some, although i am a little worried.

If the only consequences of RWT are getting your account banned, i am not worried at all. But can JaGex actually take legal action for RWT? like suing/fining a person? also if i sell the gold via ebay, can i also get into any trouble, legally?

EDIT: I see that most people selling on ebay sell their gold as a "Guide" and the guide basically says to accept a trade from them. Is this a loophole to legally selling the gold?

 

Wrong section, this belongs in market discussion. Also it digital goods, no need to be afraid of irl law suits. however Jagex it able to reset your gp, be sure to sell all 12B in once to some trusted buyer on Sythe. Maybe price is lower but you'll receive $$$ safely without any change of a wipe by Jagex.

The reason they do that on ebay is because ebay prevents virtual good trades. If they didn't say that they were selling a "joke" or a "guide" their pages would be deleted. There's absolutely nothing illegal about selling gold for real money.

Don't sell it on ebay, you'll get disputed on paypal and be up a creek without a paddle. Likewise, only sell to trusted people on sythe for the same reason
