    basically i had some beef with the local cops and they crossed the line big time. in the US. anyone could talk to me to see what to do?

    Document everything that happened including evidence (names of witnesses) assuming that it's still fresh.

    Go to a civil rights office / a lawyer who specializes in this stuff. Some google searches can help you already.
