Welcome everyone, recently i have decided to bring back my server Legacy from 2 years ago. The server has been completely redone and it is now an oldschool only server meaning that it has limited customs(just torso and ava's accumulator due to players voting yes to have them). The server is alot more reliable thread per client was removed etc. The server has a class system to give a little boost to the combat triangle i will explain its features later. The reason i have decided to bring back this server is because there were very many people asking to bring it back.

Features -

- Full PVP/PVN Combat
- Most specials added(missing just rune throwing axe spec and maul i believe)
- Class system(Mage, Warrior, Archer) each has its own bonus
- All magic spells work
- Full web slashing and levers at mb to enhance the experience a little
- Full training areas
- Custom Teleports interface
- Items kept on death interface
- Fully working prayer with protect item
- Full skulling ties in with prayer and items kept on death
- Donator rank with extra features for donators

- Barrows minigame(everything works as rs does except the maze)

Class system -

Warrior -

Warriors are skilled in the art of Melee so they get a %15 damage increase bonus.

Mage -

Mage's are skilled in the art of the Arcane, they do not require runes to cast spells and hit 50% more accurately.

Archer -

Archers are skilled with projectiles(bows, knives etc...), so they incurr a 15% damage increase.

how updating works -[/COLOR][/B]
Thanks to fubergen for the base i had to alter it quite alot to get to where ive gotten it but its working perfectly.

What it does -

Client Updating -

1.) First checks the clients version by connecting to my website
2.) if theres a new client it then checks for the new download link as well so i dont have to hardcode it into the client.
3.) Downloads the client
4.) Extracts the client and deletes the old files
5.) Closes the client.

Cache Updating -
1.) Same as the client updating but checks for its own version so the client and cache dont update on the same variable.

What this allows me to do is update the client frequently making it so players only need to download a small 2mb file because i update the client more frequently than the cache. Same goes for cache, it allows then to be up to date always and i can take the load off of them so they dont need to redownload the 30mb client every update. and i dont have to upload a 30mb file every update lol.

It also tells you in the message box before it starts downloading what version it is downloading(i know client and cache are both version 2 in the pics but i was just testing so i set them to 1 on the client and 2 on the site generally they will be different because the client will be updated more often.)

In other news -

- I have added clickable links so that you may click on the links that admins post ingame to view our news pages etc...
- Added a new theme feature to the client you may now change your theme just by clicking the little java sign in the top left corner.
