In response to my previous topic: Questions about hernia in groin

Basically I have had quite some hernias in both my groins. Last surgery it did hurt alot, but eventually all seemed well. Untill I started walking a bit weird with my left feet. I couldn't lift it perfectly, as in I either lifted my feet completely or I laid it down completely. Right now my left feet is constantly numb. I can't lift it and can't properly walk anymore. The outside isn't numb, the majority of the inside is. According to the doctor it might be because of scar issue in the groin area. He did say it doesn't mean it'll be forever numb, it might, but it was the best to for some other doctor to look at it. Sadly this will happen midway in November, quite a while away still.

I'm wondering if anyone ever had the same issue or could help me out? This feels rather weird. My left feet feels cold aswell, but according to the doctor blood is still flooding there. It might be the scar tissue harmed the nerve there, but it might not be aswell. My dad said it might be because I haven't been physically active lately, but it seems rather weird to have this as a result. It's been numb for a week straight now.

Hello Wortel, I had a similar problem after my shoulder injury, had two surgies and my whole right arm was numb for 4 months, it was very uncomfortable however time healed it, my best bet is that its just some nerves that got damaged.

How are things going now? Another doctor was going to look at it in November 2016, did things improve afterwards?

Make sure you're getting your vitamins. Do you take a multivitamin? Your body can't heal if you don't give it the right inputs. Eat lots of red meat and eggs too.

Thanks for the interest. Meanwhile I've had electrotherapy where my feet would get electro pulses every few seconds for like 10 minutes twice in a week. This really worked well. During that I was also using something that supports my feet while walking. Not long ago I was having weekly practises with my feet and at this moment I'm awaiting my last appointment with the doctor. Right now my feet functions properly again.
