This shouldn't even have to be posted. While most of you are too smart for this, a few probably don't think things through before you click on things. So before the know it alls amongh you go posting "everybody knows this", you're not "everybody", and there are some people who need to be told.

When a leecher---especially one on the first post----starts a thread, offering what's supposed to be a program that bots for you, changes your stats, shows you how to make pins, etc., and the link is to RapidShare or some other free file-hosting service, you can be 99% certain that you're getting something you didn't bargain for: a phisher, keylogger, or some other kind of malware.

Moral: don't download anything offered by leechers, unless a moderator, Guru, or trusted user tells you that it's okay---and even then, you might want to see several such people verify it before downloading it.

thanks for posting this... some people are stupid enough that even when people say "its a virus dont download it!!!" then you say in later posts... "it gave me a virus omg!!!"

Yeah this is true, especially the bh one that's going around. It's really pissing me off because it's a private server pic..
And people actually do post
"OMFG it gave me a virus why didnt someone fucking say!"
When there is always someone above saying "don't download it's a virus"
lol

Couldn't the mods just delete the thread, or at least post there?

But yes, I agree, we should try and stop it somehow.

This is not true.

It could be a perfect program with no viruses ETC. Or the leecher with 1 post could be someone else posting a bot etc.

And everyone wants EVERY wants ever new bot to be scanned before use.
So ..

MORAL : Don't judge by post count.
Judge by when account made, Leechers might not want to post as much, Just observe.

If it's a perfect program, then the leecher won't mind a moderator or guru verifying that it's clean, right?

Also, we had a leecher here who made a post about a wonderful new bot which linked to a lame clicker, then waited six weeks and changed the link on the post to that of a phisher/keylogger.

People who can't tell if a program is legit should wait until somebody trusted verifies that the program is okay. That was my point.

Use common sense.

Although I hate when people rely on someone else to try it out. Just stfu and try yourself. Most can't even infect you unless you unzip or run it -.-

Dude this is common sense. If people are that stupid to fall for that kind of shit, then they obviously deserved it.
