LeBron or Michael?

Over the last couple of years. Lebron's been growing and being mroe known. No doubt that MJ, Lebron and Kobe are the mainpoints of NBA and will be remembered for their contributes but MJ is more popular to me and I think he was better. At times I would think he would faint cause he would breathe like a dog.

 

They say,,;; if Lebron gets his 3rd ring he is the best player to play basketball in the NBA

 

You're joking right?

You think 3 rings does it? Not even close he has to at least match Kobe in rings if he wants a chance.

It's not all about the rings, its the way he plays unstoppable

 

No I don't he just hasn't earned it yet that plain and simple honestly. He hasn't earned being the greatest or even in the discussion. What he did to Cleveland was wrong. He had to team up with 2 other super stars and leave his home town. That ruined his legacy.

I wouldn't say that is a true statement ether. Take a look at the numbers.

 

In my opinion, as of now it's Michael. But with how much time Lebron has left in his career I don't have much a doubt he will be the best.

 

I think this year's lost ruined it for him to be considered #1, however I still think when is all set and done he will still be top 5 player of all time.

 

How is this year ruined him?

That last game he was at the top of every stat sheet except for steals.

He literally carried them to the Game 5.

 

Didn't ruin his career, I mean ruined his chances of being legitimately compared to Jordan. Lebron is now 2-5 while Jordan is 6-6.

 

And LeBron is only 28 I believe. Still has another 10 years.

 

He is turning 30 and no doubt he will end up top 5 all time. but those finals losses will always come up when he is being compared to Jordan.

 

We shall find out, he still has awhile!

 

Hard to blame Lebron for the Cavs loss in the finals. That team was freaking garbage besides Lebron.

 

They were awful. People used to think Illgalskus was good. Hell no

 

Like if someone is going to argue that Lebron can only win with talent then it's a dumb argument. You can't win a title by yourself no matter how good you are. Jordan had a ridiculous supporting cast. People just go easier on Jordan because he "naturally" came into it, as in he didn't join a team mid-swing like Lebron.

But..fact of the matter is...it's a different game now than it was then. Money talks, and so does a better chance of winning. Eventually the Cavs would have built through free agency anyway, so Lebron was going to get help at some point.

 

True but the other 2 with the heat he had good enough team and should of won those.

 

Agreed. Well the Spurs were a REALLY good team. The Mavericks they should have beaten though. Lebron's probably lucky they didn't go 0-2 vs the Spurs. 30 seconds away last year, this year wasn't really close. Heat didn't play up to potential but the Spurs were always going to be a huge challenge.

 

I think Lebron is a better athlete, but a better basketball player than michael? no

 

Lebron is a great player, but I'll take Jordan.
