Last night I was thinking and...

Runescape is theoretically possible to get everything level 99 with out buying anything right?

For almost all the things you can get from monster drops that are essential or you could make them with your skills.

Now obviously this would be lengthy and boring and no-one would want to go on this crazy quest.

So, yeah, that was what I was thinking about last night so if any one has some feedback or comments or what ever please leave them here.

I highly doubt anyone would do it. I'm pretty sure nobody wants to train with a bronze dagger until a high lvl monster drops a better sword.

But yeah, it is possible.

Wait, does RS have a monster that drops vials? Or a place where they respawn?

 

Yup, I know somebody. He's a self sufficient skiller hasn't bought anything. He currently is going for 99 Smithing by mining the ore he already got 99 Mining from it and has 96 Smithing and about 300mil worth of cannonballs. He's got 99 Farming from seeds from kingdom and slayer and all his armor comes from GWD drops and slayer. That guy is a beast. He also got 99 Magic by cutting down Mage trees, fletching and stringing those to 99 Fletching and then alching em. And he mined the rune essence and made the nature runes. He's 100% against botting to.

Well he has bought something from the G.E lol...partyhats

 

You're right, everything can be trained in use with other skills/drops.

Mining > smithing, fletching, ranged, Runecraft, attack/str/def, Construction
Woodcutting > Fletching, firemaking, Ranged, Construction
Runecrafting > Magic
Combat > Herblore, Summoning, Crafting,

i can't even be bothered to think of all the possible combinations, but you're absolutely right.

But yes realistically speaking this would be impossible.

 

Glass blowing pipe creates vials, Vials Can be re-used.. Molten glass is from sand in a bucket.

 

You wouldn't train with a bronze dagger the WHOLE time you could kill goblins get a bronze sword level up kill what ever and get iron weapon etc.

Oh yeah he bought the shards and pouches for summoning, but collected all the secondarys ^^

Water elementals drop Vials of Water 100 percent of the time

 

Is it possible to get a drop as a shard? If not Summoning might be impossible.

 

Just imagine how much combat xp you would end up with.

 

For summoning, instead of buying pouches,shards, etc... You could spend every single xp lamp or effifgy you get on summoning

 

This would take forever. The people thatwould even attemped something like this are few and far between. I get bored trying for one 99, let alone multiples.

 

It's just a waste of time to do.

Get the 99's conventionally and say you did it like this, if you want... but actually doing it would take waaay too long.

And yes you could do it but it takes far to long to get
99 in everything while buying all supplies nevermind
getting supplies yourself.
