    Laptop Problem

So whenever I'm on my computer, sometimes it'll just randomly shut off on me. I feel the fan at the bottom of it, it's really hot and it looks like it just overheated but, whenever there's 2 Runescape windows open (Internet and BotClient), it shuts down also.

What can I do to fix this? Would a laptop cooler do the trick?

A laptop cooler should work nicely if it's shutting down from overuse.

Make sure the laptop cooler has at least 4 fans. Otherwise, it'll still get heated. It'll take longer, but it will still get heated up.

It will still overheat with 4 fans, but at a decreased rate. So the more fans the better basically.

I've only seen coolers with a maximum of 4 fans. It would be wise if you took a few breaks every few hours. Set your computer on sleep mode.

You should be fine with 2-3 fans. It doesn't matter the amount of fans, but the power of the fan(s). You should be able to get a powerful cooling system for your computer from anywhere between $20-$50 USD (obviously increased quality with increased price).

Sleep mode is not shut down lol. You don't lose any data and you can resume working at short notice. Sleep mode doesn't use much power and your computer cools down when in sleep mode.

I would recommend going to a CompsUSA near your house or something such as a Best Buy or PC Richards - you should be able to find a relatively cheap one at any place that sells a vast majority of electronics.
