I've look at all the evidence Kriz has sent me via Sythe. He has been unable to demonstrate that any gfx works formed part of the bargain. Kriz referred to this picture in particular, saying it demonstrated that the agreement was $15 for placements, and the full amount on attaining Gold.
If iblack offered to pay 'half of it after placements' that means that after placements, if you hadn't reached Gold, there would still be another 'half' outstanding until you reached Gold. In other words, the deal was to get to Gold, and this conversation merely demonstrates an installment plan. You can't pull out of the installment plan. Since you guaranteed to give all the money back in the event of a failure, given that you've failed to reach Gold for iblack, you must refund the money.
The skype chat also didn't happen a long time ago, they happened perhaps a fortnight ago. You should easily be able to see your Skype history for one year past. Perhaps the logs you thought existed didn't exist - hence why you couldn't find them.
In any case, to repeat, you'll have to refund iblack AUD$20. I'll give you 3 days to do so.
