Trustmybet Account Service Scam

Explanation of the trade:
The trade was 27M OSRS for a hand-done Void service.
My central point in this report is that I paid a significant premium (40-50% markup) for a hand-done service specifically for the reason that I did not want it botted.

It would usually cost 18-20M from a typical void service provider.
Trustmybet's Sythe thread advertised that this service was hand-done. He dually confirmed this with me on Sythe.

As such, we proceeded.

I received a Skype message telling me the service was finished on the 8th of May (GMT+10).
My account was permanently banned upon login on the 9th of May (GMT+10) for macroing major.
This account is my main on OSRS and had countless hours and GP invested into it.

How they scammed:
Trustmybet botted the service and my main account was subsequently banned permanently from RuneScape.

As you can see here, he agreed to send me screenshots and did not send one throughout the entire process. My presumption is because he was botting the whole thing.
The first screenshot shows his acceptance of the 27M, I have further screenshots of the in-game trade if necessary.
The last screenshot shows him claiming the service was finished, on Monday 8th of May.
As soon as I logged on, on Tuesday the 9th of May, my account was instantly banned.




Trustmybet's Terms of Service claim that he will not take responsibility for bans on the account. This is a term of service I was totally willing to accept, given that the post and he himself advertise hand-done services.

I was rightfully under the impression that the probability of my account being banned was negligible (as it could have only been banned for RWT).

Usually Terms of Service are respected by myself and other staff members to a certain extent but the fact that he didn't send a single picture and wouldn't send a picture when requested is pretty suspicious.

Definitely agree that Terms and Conditions need to be respected. I just felt it was a little unfair for him to exclude bans induced by himself by breaching the initial terms we agreed between (hand done).

Oh sorry I've been busy with school guys... It's finals week.. I remembered that I was supposed to do something and this ended up being one I forgot.. The account was all done through osbuddy... I legit played more than the average time it took because the boats were so goddamn bad.. IT was stressful and I missed some screenies but I did my best to remember to screenie when I could as I was playing on my main and another account at once..

 

Also, I finished the order on sunday 5/7 and it shows that his account was banned on 5/9... The order was all done by hand and it appears that he was banned by doing something after I was completed with the order.

Literally spent like 8 hours a damn day doing this order..

 

im sorry to comment but when does runescape in osbuddy clip into the side panel of osbuddy? if this was done by hand it wouldnt look like the pictures have been badly cropped via using paint and why in some of the pictures is there no world map when osbuddy fixed mode has a map?

 

I believe it's for mac only. It looks different for windows. And the 32 bit or 62 bit or whatever the crossed platform im not sure which had bugs for the world map and dns server issues. Obviously I don't need a map for void so I didn't even notice it.

Also just googled it, the world map seems to have issues a lot of the times.

EDIT: Confirmed that windows osbuddy screenshots for mac are a bit different than windows. Simply because its under macOS/OSX.

Proof that minimap being stupid+mac specs are different for osbuddy.

For me, this order was completed on Monday the 8th of May. I was banned on Tuesday the 9th of May.

Reviewed all the evidence, will be asking another mod for their opinion on this situation before anything happens, should have a decision within the next 24 hours.

 

I didn't respond to you saying that you were done because I was banned immediately after logging in. I wasn't about to thank you, or vouch you, or pick a fight with you.
Don't understand why you expected a reply after all this.

I honestly don't know what you have to prove 'against' me. I paid an extensive premium for a hand-done service from you. You guaranteed both on your service page and via Skype that this service would be hand done.
I trusted you given your amount of vouches and seemingly good reputation.

My personally hand-trained main account was banned for macroing immediately upon login following your service. I personally trained every single level on that account prior to allowing you to logon.

You neglected to send any screenshots the whole way through, and now that you have, they all suggest you've logged on to OSBuddy for an accumulative 10 minutes to cover yourself.

I hope that these circumstances provide some form of clarity.

Sure you did dude. Sure. I have my evidence against you. And 10 minutes? Are you dumb? Lol.. Just stop with these points that have no back up what so ever. And see the results at the end. Completely unfair that I finished this void that took me like 30 hours and you randomly got banned. You either botted it in the past and it got delayed or I'm not sure. Doesn't make sense if I botted, why isn't my account banned than??

To point something out here which I don't think has been highlighted (staff please remove my post and infract me if you deem this not to help.)

As a premise, you can bot on OSBuddy in mirror mode on all popular botting clients but only in fixed mode, and not resizable mode (bar a few exceptions, but those aren't relevant to this case.)

All of the screenshots which Trustmybet has taken in resizable mode (unbottable) have been taken as soon as he logged in on Runescape. You can see the welcome message in 2 out of 3 of these, and in the other you can see that you just joined a clan chat (also a message which comes up when you log into Runescape when you auto-join a cc.) This last screenshot is the only one in resizable (un-bottable) mode which wasn't taken immediately after logging in as we can see from the portal messages, however it still isn't in a game of PC. This also seems to be a special case however as he left the CC he was in for some reason and then finished the game. This last screenshot is the only evidence that Trustmybet completed at least one game himself, however as the screenshot wasn't in a game of pest control we still can't be sure.

The other screenshots of him actually in-game and completing the order are oddly in fixed mode (which is bottable.) We can see this in the screenshots where he completes the order, 2 when he has just re-boarded the boat, one on PC island and one confusing screenshot where he seems to have logged into the wrong world but screenshotted it regardless.

I would inquire as to why Trustmybet needed to switch between these resizable and fixed mode for this job. The fact that he switched between the two seems to imply that he took the screenshots of him in resizable mode in-game as an attempt to suggest that he was playing by hand, while he was actually botting on the account. As such, these are just allegations, but I think if he explained why he needed to switch between these and if he can provide proof of him in a few games of pest control in resizable mode it would be able to swing things back in his favour.

 

Honestly have no clue what you just said. Don't really get it. Anyways, what you mean by different sizes of client? Do you realize it looks different for mac and windows right? Feel free to message every admin on sites I purely only advertise on (sythe,tribot,powerbot). If they could check that I don't bot or download there stuff, go for it. I'm only there to advertise thats it. Also Mac version looks different as I mentioned before because its under macOS.

 

Ok, so there is resizable mode in Runescape and fixed mode in Runescape. You seem to know what I'm discussing as you have changed it while doing the service.

I was wondering why you would have to change between the two throughout your service and why you took the screenshots when you did (in each mode)?

 

Your resizeable mode or whatever looks different from mine. Don't get what you mean. looks different for me on mac in compared to windows one.

I only took a different one when I forgot to screenshot completion in which I was on a pc(windows). I have a pc, mac, and windows laptop. Really confused of what you're trying to say here. And what's even more annoying is that, that's basically framing me or making accusations at me for using osbuddy like ??? How else can I show that I did this by hand. Literally stupid. Again, feel free to contact every admin on any bot forums. I don't bot. I'm only on there for advertising. Period

 

I'm sorry if I'm not making myself clear enough. What I'm trying to say is that all the screenshots you took in the mode that you can't bot on are straight after you logged in, while the screenshots you took in the mode that you can bot on are taken while the job was being completed.

I know this because I'm using a MacBook as well, the two modes are only slightly different, you should still be able to know what I'm talking about. I've been using TriBot LG for a while now on mine

 

I remember reading something about looking glass on tribot and I believe you need to purchase something there. like VIP or something but I'm only there for advertising. I don't have VIP or anything there. Have not ever bought anything there. And no not really understanding what your point is other than that you're trying to question me for something I have no clue what you're talking about.
