Known twitch streamer and degenerate staker "Ant Legend" scams 60B+ 07 from a fellow degenerate

This is spicy as fk. They were friends or at least talk a lot in private and moama was always on his cc.
I feel like moama loves to be mentioned all around the Rs comunnity , giving big loans to streamers to stake , a lot of people has been talking about him for the few past week in all staking stream chats. Not saying he wanted to get scammed but he likes to show his money to everyone.
Why will you trade even a bill to a guy that is almost cleaned and , his channel is based on having a lot of gp and giveaways.

 

This seriously happened last night? I was watching him @ like 3-4 A.M. before I went to bed as well. That's crazy, and the poor dude lost 10-20B due to the Hyphonix hacking incident previously. So sad Ant legend would stoop to that...

 

It was only a matter of time...

 

I'm kind of close to the situation so I'll explain it in full.

Moama was drunk staking yesterday and made 5b into 65b. He decided to do two trust trades with close friends of his and one of those friends screenshotted the money on Ant's discord. From there, Ant practically begged Moama to trust trade him as well, I believe he wanted to screenshot the money in his account to appear trusted or something related to his stream. Moama obliged and Ant decided not to give it back and be "Robin hood".

I just want to point out this wasn't just Moama randomly trading a streamer 65b out of the blue. From what I understand, Moama built some trust with Ant over the months and has donated to him and asked Ant to stake for him on stream for content in the past. Ant took advantage of the situation and decided to swindle him while Moama was drunk.

Ant then decided to stream later on and keep his stream in sub mode only because he was too much of a pussy to full on admit the scam and face people calling him out for it. He RWT'd approximately 10-15b, most or all of which is being charge backed and returned back to Moama by people who bought from Ant. He gave away 4-5b in order to get more subscribers on his channel and maximize his profit.

He later got kicked off the account and claimed "someone was trying to hack him", told the stream everything is fine, tried to log back in, and said his account was "locked" after clearly seeing the "Your account has been disabled" message on the runescape log in page. He said he'd be right back and still hasn't returned nearly 12 hours later.

The bottomline is yes, Moama was naive and too trusting but did not in anyway deserve to be scammed. He was drunk and a bit too trusting of people. Right now he's in the hospital after a suicide attempt because he was dealing with a lot IRL and Runescape was his getaway from it all. Hopefully the $300 or so extra money Ant made from subs/donations last night was worth completely ruining his twitch "career" and making someone almost kill himself.

Moama makes the second person that tried to kill themself after interacting with Ant, he's the spawn of Jim Jones so watch out.

I don't believe there's any way right now to donate to Moama. If there's something that can set up that will be transparent and show the money is going directly to Moama, I'll let people know because it seems like there are many people who also want to donate to him and help him out.

As for your second question, one of his discord mods were saying how apparently Ant was talking to some girl and convinced her to send nudes. He claimed she was the only girl she was talking to and seeing but some how she found out he's a player and has been talking to many other girls. She cut her wrists really bad and apparently said it was because of Ant and no one has heard from her since last night. Also, apparently Ant tried calling the cops to try to help the girl but there was nothing they could do as they didn't have enough information about her.

For this case I don't know if it's completely credible because I'm nowhere near as close to that situation as the first one. I can say that I did see the pictures and they're pretty gruesome. Reverse searching the images hasn't come up with anything either so it doesn't appear to be a hoax. I'm hoping to try to contact Ant and verify if he did call the cops pertaining to this because if he did, it should verify the story.

If he does verify he called the cops or there's more information that brings clarity to the situation then I'll mention it here

I will. The only update is, according to the people who bought from Moama, they're going to attempt to chargeback Ant for everything and if they succeed, they'll give Moama ~30b+ that they were able to buy off of him. I was astonished when I heard this and I really hope the chargebacks work and Moama's repaid in part.

Although Ant's a scam, I hope he doesn't kill himself if the chargebacks work. He definitely puts a lot of value on money seeing as he was willing to destroy his reputation for it. Losing it all could push him over the edge like it did to Moama.

That's horrendous. I can't imagine the feelings that all members of that absolute disaster are feeling right now. I hope all the best for Moama and that the others support him through this... rather than trying to wipe their hands clean of the situation and offer a shitty "apology" like I've seen happen in the past with these situations.

 

What makes it worse is most members/mods/admins in Ant's discord know that Ant scammed it and are either blaming Moama for trading it over and saying he deserved it OR calling it a scam/hoax and saying it's just "haters".

I am someone who watched Ant periodically and even gave him 4b to stake on stream for content which he made to 9b and I've loaned him in the past. I never would have imagined he'd do something like this and also show he's a pathological liar by denying all claims in his discord chat.

In his last broadcast before the scam, he ended with losing his staking bank on an Ely stake that he had a 40-50 hp advantage on, raged, and called the stake rigged. Then the next night he starts his stream up giving away 4-5b+ with most of his mods not asking where he got the money from? To me, most of the people still subscribed or still modded in his Discord/Twitch are just one small step below Ant in terms of scum of the Earth. It's honestly unbearable to watch Ant pretend like he didn't do anything and watch his groupies agree and kick/ban people who disagree.

This will be the first and last time I suggest people to watch Ant Legend's stream (If he does stream tonight). I doubt he'll acknowledge the scam he did but it'll be very interesting to hear if he gives a reason as to why he got perm banned on two accounts yesterday and where he got the money from. He'll still likely keep his channel in sub only mode since he's still too much of a pussy to admit he scammed it and face the music.

Also, Hyphonix, who does owe Moama 10b and now me 20b, will be talking about the situation extensively as he's been pretty close to Moama recently. He'll likely have his stream up in about an hour or so and his rants are usually very entertaining.

 

The question is why isnt he banned on twitch? He might just stay offline for a few weeks and come back and play it off. I doubt he will ever admit it.

I initially loaned Hyphonix a few months ago because I was in a very very similar situation he was in since I gambled a few years (except I wasn't a streamer). Ever since his previous large debt a few months ago, I haven't loaned him because I told him I don't that this type of gambling is being encouraged and streamed because it leads to many other, less trustworthy people following his example and scamming others.

He might do a lot of things that make him seem like a crackhead but one thing that's unquestionable is that he's trustworthy. There's never been any claim of him scamming another person, no RWT claims with actual proof, or anything that would make him appear less trustworthy. The only problem is that he continues to make his content be debt streams which I've repeatedly told him I disagree with.

But to sum up why people lend streamers (Particularly Hpyhonix) money, it's for the content.

 

arena is so toxic but I'm glad its there because besides that, all other forms of pvp is so cancerous/toxic atm that u just let those kinds things slide because most ppl can agree, their tired of watching some streamer pking and complain about 'stream sniping'.

edit: I am not condoning what ant did for the matter, but am stating arena publicity, if this is it, regardless whether or not the actual scam did take place may and is indeed better for the rs/twitch community than some pker's' who also take their 'time' to stream
