    Klucius is a scammer

Explanation of the trade: So I wanted to buy the name: Si from him on runescape, we negociated and came to the arrengement of 350M rs3. I decided to go first as he seemed quite trustworthy, over 70 vouches and 422 post on this website. He refused the arrengement of doing 50/50.
How they scammed: When I paid, he changed his name 2 time. When he changed his name for the 2nd time, he told me that I could go and get it. I tryed to change my name literally within 5 sec. He said someone sniped it. How can someone snipe it that fast when no one was aware of the trade? He knew it got sniped in no time, see the pictures I will provide below.

Note that the conversation is an album containing like 9 screens, the whole convo is there, he never gave me the account info and appears online since about 10 hours now.

    Other relevant trade screenshots:

So yeah, as you can see, my thoery is pretty obvious, he sniped the name himself. How can someone snipe the name within 5 sec after he changes it and also how did he knew right when he changed his name that it got sniped? No one was aware of our trade and he changed both name very fast so no one would have got the time to go on runescape and change name. I also found it strange how he never gave me the account info after he told me he would..
-He also didn't remove the name on his name selling thread but yet replyed to my comment after he scammed me.
    Thank you.

so did he follow up with you? it doesn't sound like he's trying to scam you here.

fwiw (and for whoever deals with this report if it's not me) - generally we settle with a 50/50 split for name sales that go awry since both parties take some risk that the account gets sniped

No he didn't and hes appearing offline since near 24hours now. My theory is that he's simply trying to hide the fact that hes the one that sniped the account. Pretty logical to me anyway...

yeah, that's probably what happened. if any staff know if 2 name changes are required for anything like the guy who seems to have scammed santa, posting that would be great; it's the difference between him owing you 100% of the price and 50% of it

I will add this thread for you super in case you need it:
    http://www.sythe.org/name-sales/1863991-how-transfer-rare-name.html

    As you can see
step 3:The seller will double check that the buyer is still there, and is still ready to take the name. The seller will then do a form of count down.
** Tip: The first name change is a universal signal to snipers that the name is going to be transferred. The longer you wait, the more likely it is for a sniper to pick up on this, and prepare to take your name. YES, waiting even 5 minutes is more than plenty of time for a sniper to notice. You should redeem the 2nd bond for a name change as soon as you change your name the first time.

Step 4: The seller will then change the name the second time on the website, to the name he had already changed it to.
** Tip: The reasoning behind this is that snipers will look for the 2nd change and instantly try to claim the name. If you change it to the same, they can't visibly see the name change, reducing the ability for them to claim it.
** Tip: Do a count down. An example can be found in the tips to avoid getting your name sniped, above.
