Keylogger?

I lured with this guy for a while and then he said he got black marks.
So we were on msn and he told me to look at the evidence so i accepted the file. It was in a .zip file so i unzipped it and inside it had a "My pictures" file but it was an .exe file so then i knew.

Now if i didnt open the file, and deleted it and and emptied the recycling bin,
am i still at risk? i never opened the .exe file just unzipped the file and saw it.

 

Im not sure, but as long as you didnt open the exe file you should be fine

 

If you did not open the file, you have not caught an infection. Opening the files means you open the trojan attached, removing it is indeed the best thing to do. For further notice, please make sure you scan these files and do NOT accept these files at all.
