Karthus?

How... The hell? I don't even understand him. I just got him with ip, have seen people demolish with him 1v1 and I'm doing horrible. Anyone here know how to play him? Any tips?

Watch some videos. He's essentially a farm lane. When you hit 6, your ult can be used to pressure bot/top/jungle. However, farming is the key to winning on karthus.

 

[The Ract]

You pretty much sit in lane and farm as much as you can, because your Q and E are some of the easiest skills to farm with. Instead of roaming, you use your ult for pressure on other lanes and then once you hit mid / late game then you can start fighting people if you want. He doesn't have much kill potential early, so that may be where your going wrong.

Well that could be part of my problem. xD I have seen him be fed at early levels and which I thought I could do. I'll look at some videos and make sure to farm extra hard. I did read he was a team fighter more so.

 

Karthus? I've played him in ranked and my bud Todd mained him for Gold. You basically just get a fuck ton of mana, spam q at your enemy if they're dumb or just use it to farm (it gives back mana from w or e passive) and once you snipe a few kills with your ult you'll be farmed enough to teamfight.

I used to play Karthus lets just say, 24/7. He is by far one of my favorites to mid with. His q can go on for days, spam the shit out of that little fucker. And once you build mana, your e can clear lanes faster than I can drink a can of beer, which is fucking quick. Dont forget, look around the map, anybody low on health, press R to win.

Hmm, when I get home today I will play him like everyone has been stating. That's why I wanted to play Karthus so bad was because of his ult his amazing. Any idea what I should get for my build then? I know the hourglass is needed and such. But what else?

He's really a farm lane, late game in team fights you run into enemy team with void staff and massive amounts of AP and destroy most people.
