I know this is probably not the best place to ask this, but I can't find a decent site where I can get a list of the first 100 kanji I should be learning. If anyone could give me a source that has each kanji's explanation and stuff, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Heya GANBATTE~! and theres no real good website that deal with kanji, this one is ok http://www.kanjisite.com/ but the web layout is abit hard to follow but it does have explanations on each kanji. your best bet would be to go to a book store and buy a book on kanji like i did haha alot easier :)

Buying a book is not an option.

I tried that website before but got away as soon as I saw the complex navigation. After taking a closer look, I guess it's better than most sites, but it still lacks explanations on how to remember it easily.

For example,
san_yama.gif
(yama/mountain) is easy to remember because it looks like a mountain. Same goes with
moku_ki.gif
(ki/tree)

I'm just looking for an order in which I should learn them, because you can later form more complex Kanji by adding them together.

Kanji is really complex, not sure of any sites that have the full alphabet in order, your best bet is to buy a book. I know it's not an option but it's the best option.

Kanjis are basically pictograms that are used in Japanese writing. They were derived from the Chinese system. They represent pictures of things (you'll understand as you learn more) and these pictures give the idea of things. Each kanji has different pronunciations known as the 'on' reading and the 'kun' reading. Which reading you should use can be seen by looking at the context of a sentence or word.

That's the short form, if you wanna learn more, google it. But what the hell am I doing lecturing on my own 'I need help' thread?
