It's 10 matches.

Lets assume you win all 10, you'd prob get silver 2/3.

I can't see you getting to gold. 5-5 will put you in S4 or around there as it'd move you down a bit. There's a chance for you to get to bronze, but I wouldn't expect it unless you barely win a game.

You can get gold easy if you go 10-0. You can also manipulate it by duoing with a higher MMR account.

only this way because if you do them alone, good luck you won't see gold... This is a soft reset on elo so don't be waiting to get higher or diamond players would always be diamond.

Granted I only have anecdotal evidence, I am fairly confident you can get gold from going 10-0.

I went from S5 to Gold 2 going 10-0 with broken yasuo on release.

you will get a rough understanding where you will be placed, as i explained the elo system in great details.
And its 10 games.
Also, winning the first 5 games, and losing the last 5 will give u more ELO than
losing the 5 first and winning the next 5.

The way they set MMR is so that you barely gain ELO, only lose it. They want most players in the gold-silver bracket so they arent going to skyrocket your MMR just because you smashed your placements.
