Hey there, I've been botting frost dragons over the past few days and have been making quite a bit of money. What concerns me is all of the posts talking about how frost botting has the highest ban rate.

I have found absolutely no evidence to back up these claims that I am finding all over the forums. Between both sythe and rsbots.net forums, I have only found three people who have actually been banned, two of which received macro minors, and one a macro major (He was not using the nexus bot, most likely some crappy free bot).

So I guess what I am asking is why is everyone saying frosts have such a huge ban rate? Do they really? Or is this just gossip made up from players botting frosts who don't want their profits to go down.

I personally bot frost dragons, however I only do it on one account and I baby sit it. I feel like it is safe to bot at Frost Dragons as long as you are going to baby sit it. It is well worth the time taken to baby sit the bot considering the massive profit made. However I would not likely leave my Frost Dragon bot on for more than 2 hours when I am away. It is way way to risky, there are many legit players that use Frost Dragons as their main source of income still. The fact that there are bots are one of the best money making spots will almost certainly cause the legit players to report you.

My account has been reported twice as far as I know however it has been almost three weeks and no bans. Although I know of a friend that was botting on two accounts at frost dragons for almost a month. One of the accounts got a Perm ban and the other one was a macro minor.

Well, seeing as Frost dragons for legit players is a crazy cash crop. If tons of bots infiltrate the frosts and overflow the bones into the market, supply will overpower demand and the price will steadily drop, which Jagex wont like.

It is said they are watched quite closely, but if your willing to bot it don't worry about bans in my opinion.

Yeah fair enough, but I really don't think there are any legit players left at frosts, or if there are any, they are in the bot-free foreign worlds. If you go around and try to make conversation with ANYONE in a given world, I can pretty much guaruntee that no one will respond.

I guess it just comes down to whether or not the profit outweighs the risk... Risking my main for up to 500M in a two week period..

500M * $0.75 = $375

A bit less than what my account is worth, but thats assuming I get reported on the very first day I started botting (Takes 2-3 weeks for a ban to be given).

Yes it's very high risk there, bot busters infiltrate frosts and mass report everyone, also Jmods go in and ask people to talk many ppl have been banned so I wouldn't bot it u can get a macro major from frosts.

Ask yourself is it worth getting your 99s rolled back and not having access to your main for 2 weeks?? If the answer is yes then bot it if no then I wouldn't recommend botting it.

@above lol there's no way ur Gona make 500m in 2 weeks, try 250m buddy. And where are you selling gold for 0.75/m lol try 0.5-0.6. 375$?? Lol try 150$ at best. Your a dreamer kid.

The ban rate is very high in comparison with all other bots.

Will you get banned immediately? No.
Will you get banned of using it 8hrs a day for a week? Probs not.

However the fact is, you are more likely to get banned @ frosts than with most other bots, however it's not an insta ban.

Its a higher than average banrate .lets just keep it at that.

well i think that at the moment it is low, but as the legit players are reporting everyone, and jagex is probably going to target it soon.
The ban rate will dramaticly raise.
So i guess you could say its a low ban rate for the time being, id just babysit or something because the legit players get pissed off.
