Just hacked :( What to do? Need help.

I just got hacked on all 4 of my accounts. It. Sucks. I am pissed, and need to know what I can do next to make money out of nothing.

 

As of right now, you can't do much except make a new account. I can recommend getting members, picking flax and spinning the flax in order to sell it on the Grand Exchange. It'll be the only method as of right now for some quick cash.

 

Damn... it's hard to hear that. Is there a way to delete my current account and use the same email?

 

You can't delete Runescape accounts, however you can use the same email on your new account.

If your email is still on your old account(s), then you can recover your old accounts. Did your accounts get cleaned or did they get hacked overall (meaning you can't access them now)?

 

They get cleaned every 12 hours.

 

But I don't want to mess with this, I just want a new account

every 12 hours? so your computer is infected? dude i would check my pc if i were you, you could have a trojan/virus/keylogger

 

Run a security scan, You may have a keylogger. Once that's done either try and recover the account or create a new account and do quests/skills for people to get some money.

 

Run a virus scan immediately. Also if the hacking persists afterwards, post on Jagex's forums asking for an account clean. They will wipe recovery data on the account to a point prior to the hackings occurring, meaning whoever it is cannot recover your account.

 

From what I read you most likely have a RAT. Run Malwarebytes, if that doesn't work you might have to restore to factory settings

 

If you have a RAT you may need to wipe your HD and reinstall. Hopefully it's nothing too bad that you cant handle, but I'm sorry that you got hacked. The only thing you can do is either get them accounts safe or (and) make a new account and start slow on there. But I wouldn't make a new account with a RAT on my computer.

 

If he posted on here the person behind this has seen it. May need to think of solutions that he CAN do.
