Just got suspended

Sorry didn't update you guys yesterday
Me and my mum couldn't attend school yesterday So she called in and talked with the headteacher for like 20 minutes about the dispute then she said

"Well his farther isn't going to be happy about this. he'll pop you a visit on Monday morning" after she said "Your going back to school Monday darling"

I'm not sure if they case has been disputed cause my parents r also split up :S and I don't want this going on my permanent record.

I've heard of disciplinary actions for having too long of hair, but short? Hmm..

 

A girl in my school dyed her hair red from dark brown, but her hair was naturally red anyway and she still got suspended after explaining that was her natural colour!

 

Suspended because of a haircut? Wow.

 

I'm gonna tell them its religious.

But I'm definitely going in Monday.

 

Tis quite relevant, i explained how a popular/common african american hairstlyle isn't tolerated even though theres nothing wrong, yet he acuses them of being wrong without backing up his claim with evidence.

 

wow really? is it a haircut where it basically looks like something? (eg: sexual part) otherwise that suspension is complete bullshit >.>

 

That's a little to strict. Does it say anywhere in the rules that you're not allowed to do certain things with your hair?

 

If it's a private school, I'm sure they make you or your parents sign a contract saying you will abide by those rules.

 

My school has rules about "distracting colors and styles" too but I doubt I'd be suspended if I suddenly decided to dye my hair bright purple so something.

 

You have to consider it from the schools perspective though. Alot of people would look at your new 'cool' hairdo and instantly think that your some rebellious out-of-control teen.When your wearing your school uniform your not only identifying yourself as a member of whatever shcool you go to, but your actions (or in this case appearance) reflect back on the school. As such if your walking around in your school uniform and come across some prospective parents, your appearance may reflect badly, and hence they may choose to send their kids elsewhere.

 

What the hell? you got suspended for having SHORT HAIR? that honestly makes no sence whatsoever... If anything you should be suspended for having way long hair or something. That is total Bullshit.

 

You need to give us picks dude!! black out your face in paint or w.e but leave the hair

Guys I'm back at school since yesterday I'm not sure what my parents said to him but sure worked.

My hair is radical at all it is a nice clean cut and I wouldn't be giving the school a bad name either.
