How do I recover a scammed account?

You can't sadly.

Original Ip = Perm recovery and if you try contact jagex support they'll say the account is in the hands of the right owner.

I think he means HE tried to sell the account meaning it is his account, and he wants to recover it as someone else has the email. He can do that with the original ip...

 

Just contact jagex about it...hopefully they see your ticket and reply...as long as you are the rightful owner and you're still on the same ip the acc was created on you will get it back.

Assuming I've read this right,
YOU sold him the account. If you make an account recovery submission and fill the form out to the best of your ability, b/c you are og IP, you'll be accepted.

Bro shit happends, you can try to contact jagex or else I dont know, what you should do is just buy a new account play with it because I dont think that you wanna walk the risk that if you have that account and train on it and get stuff on it that its get hacked again.

 

I tried recovering an account which was hacked (Still to this day have no idea how ) and the only way I got a response is when I got a strange 'Customer Satisfaction' email from Jagex. I obviously filled it in angrily, giving very low satisfaction ratings, and they actually responded to the contact details they asked me to leave at the bottom of the survey.

It took them 1 day to get back to me, and 3 days later I had my account back. Stroke of luck? No idea. The survey is the only way a Jagex member has got back to me and I've got an outcome from it. Any other direct emails etc have been fruitless in the past.

 

you can always get the account back if you are the original owner. My first main got hacked back in 2005-6 and i got it back in 2011. It was a pretty decent account by then too.
