Canada has a high minimum wage though. Plus, if you work grave yard shift, easily can get 40 hours a week.

I make $11 an hour working for the city I live for, mowing, cutting tress etc. Not terribly hard work, but rather do an easy ass job not sweating my balls off and get paid the same yet have to give 10x as much effort.

Looks good on a resume, but damn, summer months sure as hell ain't fun on a mower with no shade.
