Just got banned.

No point doing the appeal man, they don't read them.

Well, I'm a good example of the same scenario, Except I had 6 of my accounts banned at once for running a wc bot even though it was someone else who was using my computer.

Sadly Jagex holds the account owner accountable for offenses committed on the account, regardless of what the offense is.
Edit: Db0wd0wn3d was my first ever rs account. Re-invested was my main, and had maxed combat 2200+ total level, and over 20B in the bank.

 

Someone must have reported you multiple times or something. You just can't leave a bot running you never know what will happen

 

I as well was banned today, but by a sythe member using a bot on my account, saying it was "Hand Done"

 

That sucks man. You should get a compensation or at least report that.

Jagex doesn't read any ban appeals at all, got banned over a year ago and my appeal is still pending...

I think it's mostly the client/script. If 1k people use the same script and they see specific patterns of scripts that have been flagged as bots 1k times, the 1k+1 time will probably be a bot as well. PROTIP: Use custom-made scripts. And also; you knew the risk before you began botting, best is to move on and not make the same mistakes twice.

 

I have had a bot appeal pending on my old main main account from like rs2 days for about 5 years, so don't hold your breath XD I wish they would atleast deny it instead of hover it above me
