Just got banned

Yea you get a 2 day then a perm, but apparently people have been getting 2 day bans then 28 day bans before perms.

Well the whatsmyip sites say I'm in a city which i'm not, and i'm nearly 100% certain jagex can't see your location accurate to an address. So by your logic everyone in my town is flagged? Not sure I get you lol.

I'm 99% sure my main account was banned because of the gold farming account. Everyone knows lots of people bot at pest control, but I really don't think it's a high ban risk there...

 

This. Your IP changing from, say 123.123.123.10 to 123.123.123.9 doesn't fool Jagex. They can ban your IP with wildcards if they wanted to.

Xier doesn't understand how a dynamic IP works.The last digit in the IP you're speaking of in address is merely a protocol linking an individual device to an IP. Each Mac address on a laptop, phone, xbox, will change the last digit. Ignore him.

 

What he is saying is correct though, just because you reset your router doesn't mean your ip address says you live somewhere else then you previously were.
