I clearly got your point. These are my own thoughts. Being a christian isn't following the status quo(spelling) now a days. Unless you're a faker and still do all that "cool" crap. There are a lot of people that think the same way you do. Does that mean that you're not an individual?

 

I never discriminate against race though. Which is the topic. And I hate it when others assume because they're 'alittle racist', they think that everyone is 'alittle racist'.

 

I myself, am Native American. Cherokee tribe. I feel that yes we were ass raped in certain ways. Black were ass raped in certain ways also. Every race has had its ups and downs. There will never be an end to any racism. Whether it be towards blacks, whites, native american, jews, etc. The only change we can make as individuals is our selves. Just leave it up to everyone else to do what is right. Just my opinions.

A lot of racists aren't afraid to accept someone else who looks different into their society. I couldn't fathom how many of them are selfish, as opposed to, more or less, ignorant, or malevolent.

Very few things can acquire the title of 'never' and still hold validity. Racism isn't one of them, obviously. Also, yes, every race has it's ups and downs, but that's not why people complain. People complain because of the degree of that up and down.

These are simply off the top of my head, from the more famous, known problems in society. Now, the numbers represent the problems that this type of person has dealt with. This is also why many people complain.

What I meant by the numbers, since obviously, a first glance isn't enough to comprehend, is that they're a representation, or a symbol, for that type of persons problems in society.

The Jew has 60, which symbolizes the World War, Hitler, concentration camps, etc. Problems in Jewish history.
The Black has 47, which symbolizes the Civil War, slavery, etc. Problems in African/African American history.
The Native American has 31, which symbolizes the colonization, being forced off of their own land, etc. Problems in Native American history.
The White has 12, which symbolizes, not so much their problems, but the fact that throughout history, the white person has dealt with much, much less.

Are you serious... This guy is practically contradicting himself. If you want racism to stop then just stop talking about it, stop thinking about it, stop paying attention to other people's skin color, stop acknowledging that other people are a different color than you.

Do you think white babies care about other babies skin color? No, they will play with them regardless because they aren't yet taught to discriminate by skin color yet.

Giving people of color an advantage over white people now in an attempt to create an equilibrium is only making things worse and will not solve anything. Stop looking at people as groups and start looking at people as individuals. If another individual is given more opportunities than me because of the color of our skin, then that's effing racism.

Completely agree. I never even thought about race until middle school when "racism" was thrown around like every day.

 

Deep down, no matter what they say publicly and even if they don't realise it themselves; everyone is a little bit "racist".

It's only natural that where there are differences people will consider one thing more desirable than another.

Racist doesn't mean "hate campaigner" or "gun wielding, hood wearing lunatic", although that is generally what people mean when they say someone is racist.

 

This is what a lot of people think. They think that in order to not be racist you have to admit your racism, and that that will please everyone. People just like to have a reason to dislike people, and by putting people into groups whether it be on race or anything else, that's wrong.

If skin color is just a chemical, then why are blacks so loud? Like theres always huge, loud groups of them at Six Flags and shit, gets annoying.

 

It's called personality and culture. White people who grew up around people like that and hung out with people like that are also loud.

 

Yeah this is true, which leads us to something else... can we dislike certain cultures? In today's society they seem to say no, but I say yes. Culture = Personality, if I don't like someone personality then I don't like them which in turn means I don't like their culture.

 

You're saying people want to dislike someone, therefore they create differences.

I think it is extremely obvious that the differences exist already and cause the dislike. Not the other way around.

White people and black people are different, it doesn't matter whether it's cultural or genetic. Whenever you have two things that are different, it is completely natural to think that one of them is better than the other.

I don't think that by admitting this it makes us "not racist", I just don't think "racism" in itself is such a bad thing, it's just a way of thinking.

Is insulting someone because of race any worse than insulting someone because they are short? No, I don't think it is.

 

Never thought about that... you can't control that anymore than race...
