Jurassic World (spoilers)

Anyone else seen it?

Cool how they used the T-rex from the original. Also kept waiting for the black guy to die throughout that whole scene haha. Lot of great scenes overall really liked it

 

I seen it, it was really good! I liked how they used the T-rex and (spoiler alert) had him at the end looking over the city. the only thing I wasn't so sure about was how "futuristic" it was, but I kind of expected that.

 

It was an amazing movie. I personally love dinosaurs so it was really appealing.

SPOILER: Best scene was when Chris Pratt was riding the motorcycle with his raptors by his side.

I think the story was decent, not great. I wanted to see what they could do 2 decades later with the technology available today, I wasn't disappointed.

 

Spoiler: My opinion, prob dont want to read till after seeing movie.

Was really a disappointment for me. I grew up watching the original Jurassic Park and I loved it to death. This new one was way to fast pace, annoying children that nobody gives two shits about, and it was literally made for 10 year olds.

In the good movies, directors build up suspense by not showing the beast (in this case the super T-rex or whatever) directly until a decent way thru the movie. However, in this one they just plop it out in the beginning and give you some bullshit backstory as how it was made and how they don't know anything about it.

But, the movie started to pick up a little later into the movie, and I actually enjoyed the last 1/3 of the movie.


Tl;Dr Movie gives really rushed and complete bullshit background, action was cool, dinosaurs looked great, annoying children pissed me off.

Not sure how it's a spoiler when it had pretty much been confirmed months before that it would be incorporated in the movie. I've added the tags though.

 

Funny thing is, the movie took place in 2005 :/

 

jurassic world was brutal af, especially how the assistant girl died

 

What really sold me was the water dinosaurs. Can't wait to see this.

 

I haven't seen it yet, I plan on watching it soon but fuck you guys for spoiling the movie.

But i heard it's really good.

 

I thought that movie was okay. I've always been a fan of the jurassic park movies, but the sideline to how the creature was made and shit was kind of too predictable. Along with the whole story line itself.

 

I saw it in IMAX and thought it was awesome. It definitely didn't disappoint and had me cringing at some scenes.

 

Saw it yesterday in 3D . was pretty awesome, not sure what pieyou is on about. The kids in the first Jurassic park were annoying as hell.

The fight in the end and raptor scenes were epic.

 

I have watched this movie. I watched this movie in the theater and i really like this movie.

 

Watched it twice now, hella entertaining would recommend to every Sci-Fi Fan

 

Personally thought it was pretty cool. But I also think it could have been infinitely better with a better plot. (minus the kids and different story line)

 

i would say its almost as good as the original but not quite there.
