my bad it did work i am sorry i have the stats up i changed to all 99 and 15000000 all of them and it wont save that

 

'Testscape server'-the highlighted words) is what you change to the name of your server. Once you change it, click file>save. Then doubble click 'runserver' or 'run' and leave the black box that comes up running.

STEP#4: Open moparscape ( download from the beginning of the guide if you havnt already ). type in a username and password, and then click 'login'. Dont change the ip of the server.

It says that its still testscape when i log onto the server it says welcome to testscape why?

 

k dog make sure your logged out when u change the stats and wait like 10 seconds before logging back in.....it works fine for me ..

 

I'm stuck on the part that says...

Open what source?? And do you mean right click and click on View Source??

Hey Im stuck on the first step. Ever time i select 'Add' (for when u need to add the host) after i click ok, it goes to this screen that says i need to enable cookies. Under cookies though, i have www.no-ip.com as 'always allow'.

Yea that happened to me too... I sent a letter to ip about that...

 

I did every step but it says 'error connecting to server' when I try to log in ... help

 

ok i am gonna make a server but i am wondering i want the max skill to be 125 so how can i get that to happen oh and i was also wondering how can i make it so that way my server is a pk server?any help oh and how do i put in the codes for like ::barrows to get barrows and stuff help me and ty

 

Okay I see now, you mean the source that you download at the beginning of the guide. I can't seem to download any, it says "File Not Found" or something... so I downloaded hybridscape, (Only one that seemed to work) but someone said "When you download MoparScape, it also downloads hybridscape." So I went to go play MoparScape and I clicked on "Start Server" to go to hybridscape, but I dunno...

I don't think that's how you make your own server... I'm confused... any help???

HELP!!! i used the cheezescape server and everything was fine untill i tried to run it, the command prompt thingy came up but then it closed like a second later and nothing happened

 

im having problem runing the testscape. all of the links are either corrupt or not runnable. anyway i can download some that arent?

Very nice guide. You took basic server knowledge and presented it all with pics and great detailed info.

This should help lots of newer people setup their own servers.

Also, I would use Project16 Blitz, but that's just me.

 

same here, lol i had it working for about 50mins then i download a new source, the FUCKD up lol,. does it matter if you ICS over LAN, cuz i didnt work till i had direct connection to my laptop.

AHh that variable thingy fucked me up at first, :S could you be a bit clearer

also on a side note, i set it up at skool, told my mates to log into my server with their rs accounts and LOL.
