What are your opinions on traders who cares about Join Date / Posts Counts rather then vouches ?

I simply hate them. F*** Join Dates and Posts Counts doesn't bring you anywhere. Vouches are way powerful compared to them both.

I do agree that vouches are a lot more important than join date and post count, but post count does eventually get you somewhere. If you have 20k+ posts like Gohan, it shows that you're an active member of Sythe and frequently use it. You wouldn't want to get banned and lose all of those posts for scamming or whatever it may be.

Okay well look at me. Joined this month, VERY active on the forums (You can check my posts, 99.9% legitimate) But yet I have about 25 vouches + I've done a good amount of MM services in my time on Sythe.

Like Cracker said; Don't trust me? Get an OMM.

Agree with both above posts, IMO, doesnt matter when you joined, of course if you join and expect ppl to go first, then ppl will flame you and such, but once you get vouches and more known around the place, then ppl will start to respect you etc. Even saying that, its not about respect, its just about being genuine

Join date matters to me somewhat; if you've been here since '05 and have been relatively active throughout then I'd consider you more trusted than someone who's new but has similar vouches.

Vouches (and trade history in general) are the biggest testament to your trustworthiness. Everything else are auxiliary addendums.

100% of my trades were either:

    A.) Using a MM
B.) Going 50/50 (On trades 1M or less)

So that's the advice I give people who are "Newcomers", ALWAYS use a MM

Join dates and post count are a very small contributory factor to trust. However they are completely outweighed by Vouches, ranks, and reputation.

Sometimes their are people from like 2007/2008, who have little to no posts, I'd never go first to them even if they've been here longer.

I agree with the "Don't trust me? Then use an OMM"

It also depends on the vouch that you have, if i see 100 tiny trades with vouches or another dude with 10 large trades an solid vouches im more inclined to go with the 10 large vouches.

Yeah. I've seen people who joined '05 , '06 and eventually scam people.

Well for me, I do care about Posts Counts and Join Date SOMETIMES but depends on the person.

Let me take an example. Myself , I've been trading to sell RSGP to people whose joined date are earlier then me, '07 and stuffs like that. They don't even have vouches or shit like that and they expect me to go first when I have more vouches and they'll start to say "Well thanks. I've joined earlier then you therefore I'm more trusted here."

Comeon man give us some break.

@Photon, there was recently someone banned for buying a Sythe account for $1 from someone over PayPal, the account was made in '07 or something so "joining before" someone doesn't matter, anyone can buy an old Sythe account.

It's as simple as trusting who you deem trustworthy and using an omm for everything else. No need to get frustrated over people not wanting to trust you to go first. If you're not happy with it, find someone else to trade with.

I don't see anything as really being a good indicator of how trustworthy someone is. Unless you know them personally you really can't judge anyone.

OMM is the safest way anyway, im sure everyone knows it. But then they end up arguing who is paying fees and trade doesnt go on.
