    Jazz/Swing

    I feel that Jazz musicians ought to be acknowledged but for the fact that the masses are drawn in to a music "industry" where songs are churned out as readily as on a factory conveyor belt, thus they are not as appreciated. Then again, if they were acknowledged by the masses their music would likely suffer.

    Anyone else particularly like swing?

    Jazz is pretty much where rap came from. I believe that it's one of the most underappreciated forms of music today. I like some jazz, when I'm in the mood.

    Jazz is good :)

    I like to think of Maroon 5 as a modern day jazz band.

    I find Django's work amazing, especially considering the disability with his fretting hand (was caught in a caravan fire, one of his legs and two fingers on his fretting hand paralysed).
