Java vs other languages

[Bruner]

So i'm just curious on what people think would be more useful overall when it comes to programming. I'm not a systems guy or a programmer but it is intriguing and i could very easily see my self learning a language in the future. Anyways just wondering if using something other than java like python would affect compatibility with scripts or if i made my own bot client. probably not the place to post this but was just curious what the community thought before i started digging into the topic and any help would be appreciated.

If you're looking into programming for botting runescape, Java is the way to go.
Can check out scripting tutorials on botting forums, like TRiBot.
