Would just try to do it from a parent's/pals/library computer - You seemed to of done most of the steps. Last thing I can think of is use a different browser, as some are pickier than others.

Is your firewall blocking it?

Check your security settings of both java and firewall. If its not firewall then its your java because it blocking the application

maybe try deleting all java related folders including in temp and recovery and then try reinstalling? I'm not really sure, you could always buy a new computer but that seems a little over the top to fix this issue.

hmm, try recovering your computer to an earlier time? also maybe use the rs client?

Are you a mac user?

This - if you're a Mac user you will get this error, meaning, you can either use a Runescape client or follow a tutorial which I can link once determining whether or not you're using an Apple product.

Definitely sounds like a mac issue. I think you can troubleshoot this directly on the RS website (see the help section.)

yeah, I remember having this when I used my dads mac, i think I downloaded the client
