xlogging

why are there so many xloggers atm

 

I don't even know what an xlogger is. Care to explain?

 

when people tele out of a duel

 

X-logging is logging out during combat. For example, in the duel arena.

 

i have yet to encounter one? i started with 100m a few days ago and now im up to 830m without even encountering one xlogger.

 

wait a minute ... if your losing a duel all you have to do is log ?! You keep the staked gp!?

I have lost 100m+ stakes due to getting dced something like this sounds sketchy, seeing as you cant log out with in 10 secs of cbt.

 

Back in the day you used to be able to simply x out of RS when you’re about to lose and you wouldn’t lose/win the stake. Today you can’t log out or you lose so you have to find a way to tele out and those people are referred to as x-loggers sometimes. Most people that exploit these glitches go after people staking billions and rake in as much as they can before the bug is patched.

 

not trying to scam or anything but im genuinely curious as to how this is done.. is this just a current glitch or has this been going on a long time ?

 

its not scamming, i believe that there are people selling it? maybe maybe not but at one point i know someone was selling a guide to it.

 

Wow lol id love this, great way to make money, spend 100 bucks on the guide, make 1k + in a day

The guide won't teach you how, I expect they're all outdated, but it'll tell you a bit about the mechanics.

Idk how old the quest is but the x-log is over a week old. I was x-logged for 1b on 21th september.

 

There have been a lot of different methods of teleing out of a duel but they are usually patched and new methods are born. I have no Idea how the current glitch works or past ones because I’m not into glitching.This glitch is still out there infact you might be able to buy it right here http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=11510464#post11510464.

I dont think you understand what it is, its being able to log out during a duel JIC you are losing and dont want to pay the winner (which in my eyes is essentially scamming im surprised a guide like this is being sold on sythe as its a dishonest thing to do) so directly there is no way to profit off of this outside of the duels you would win normally, it providing a failsafe against losing would GREATLY increase your winnings though as it would be great profit. this really wouldnt be all that usuable for most people very many times as you would be known as an xlogger after 1-2 times of using it, having multiple accounts or changing names would be beneficial to say the least

tl;dr You dont make money off of the glitch, you save it, any winnings would be due to you beating them in the duel normally

 

People always find a way to abuse duel arena and x-logging/teleporting out. normally after an update people are able to find ways of doing such.

 

If there is a verified guide on this and its looked at as acceptable on Sythe I'd likely be interested.

 

There's indeed an Xlog out right now, its being highly abused by many.

I'd suggest making your opponents relog before you stake, because that nulls the xlog.

By the way, the xlog is a glitch that used a locked/stalled interface to keep one of two accounts in a stake and when that account logs from its stake, both accounts are taken to the safe area of the DA, so technically one cannot lose a stake.
