    Tbh I don't think they have two feet to stand on with their lawsuit. They will probably have to show damages caused by each instance of botting, and putting a monetary figure on that is difficult -- i.e. it is difficult to show how you did damage to their property by playing the game in a slightly different way.

    Further, as I recall, their last lawsuit had trouble even mounting a federal copyright complaint, as they have very little registered as copyrighted in the US...

    All the same, if they're going to throw $100,000 at a lawsuit against botting, best not to be in the firing line.

John Does, which is a lawsuit based on DMCA violations that is currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Civ. Action No. SACV11-00969-CJC).

    Making threats and it hasn't been passed.
