Jagx needs to stop supin up rangers!

ok i dont think it is only me, but how many of u agree with me about how jagex is coming out with all these new weapons and crap for rangers and keepmaking them waaaay better than mages or warriors? If a ranger uses the new dark bow with the dragon arrows in a duel, there is noo way they will lose... dont even make me talk about pking... my lvl 76 has 81 ranged and a crystal bow... he already hits really high... now i can hit 25's+ with out the dark bow special... i wina lot of duels with it, but i still think they need to work on mages and warriors instead of rangers. but it might just be me. leave some feed back.

yea rangers are gay... All i see is complaints on rants forum about ranged they get an update they hate it. They are probably the most powerful in game. They need to stop crying about everything and actually play the game.

 

Either they have to make mage weaker or range stronger. It's just not fair that all mage pures are the best. At 41 mage you can already hit 12s and you could be 28 combat.

I think its fine the way it is, except for the release of the dark bow...its hits too high. /end

 

the dark-bow does hit high. but it shoots twice as slow as the mage short bow. but it also shoots 2 arrows. plus i would only worry about this if you are a staker. if you are a pker dont worry about it because i can assure you, only a very very slight few of the percentage of dark-bow owners would risk bringing it into the wild. so stop whining.

Okay. But at 41 mage a mage can hit 11 with air blast and at 41 range a player can hit a 9 with a rune arrow and they're just a little bit faster than mages.

 

i agree i saw these guy in wild with dark bow hit like nearly a 30 with d bow spec

 

PPl. mage/warrior and range both have they ups and downs .. mages with nice magic and done a verry hard qeust can do ancients .. wich owns pretty hard .. warriors got those fine weapons and now rangers got something better and everyone whines about it .. idk .. i'm happy with my str. pure + if i'm lucky i could own some rangers with a dark bow ^^

Melee had the best weapon of the game(whip) for like 2 years..mages got DT spells and what did rangers get? A nerf to magic short's special? don't tell me crystal bow because it can only be good for training or unless you're pking in team.

yeah, at the moment rangers have an edge.
so? someone always has an edge.
Wait till either a new update comes out or people have worked out new combos / tricks to get around the current 'inbalance' and it'll be some other combat type being moaned about as 'too hard'.

wrong. i just about pked a dark bow off a guy with 99 range. the only reason he kept the bow is that he used a pray pot at the last second rather than eating.

this was on a lvl 77 acct with only 81 str. and initiate armor.

mystats are:76combat,85 mage with ancients,62 att,74str,40def,and 34 prayer. mages can onlyhit up to 30's with ancients (ice barrage) and rangers alredy owned them, and most rangers, if they know wat they are doing, can easily beat a rior in armor, on my old main, a pure rangerhit constant 12's on me and i was even in full rune, and he had rapid on so he h me twice every time i hit him once...
