    Jagex's "anti-botting" team.

Jagex has told us time and time again that they have a team that reviews gameplay of flagged accounts. This is obvious as more people are starting to get banned with no last chance appeal or evidence. Although usually Jagex never gives evidence anyway.

The ultimatum of this thread is to give you guys some friendly advice on evading the banhammer while continuing to macro. That's all. I was just thinking about it and felt like sharing some techniques I have used. I have yet to be banned and have made 50m+ as well as achieved a couple 99 skills just taking my time and being careful about time management.

    1. Don't lie to yourself. Often times botters will justify macroing all night by telling themselves "ah well, Jagex will just think im a devoted player going for a 99 skill." Bullshit. Stop pulling all nighters with your bots if you take macroing seriously. For the most part, Jagex employees are not morons. Any character mindlessly repeating the same action (even if it random intervals, within a range) all night, will be flagged for review.

    2. Mix your own play time into botting time. Play the game a bit, talk to some folks online, switch worlds. Do human-like things in between botting sessions; and never bot for more than 8 hours a day. Preferably, break the 8 hours up and do it at different points during the day. Make your botting & real time play SEAMLESS.

    3. Take breaks. Every 2-5 days quit botting for a while. Go 24-72 hours without playing, if anything, occasionally log on to say hey to a friend or check the G.E. It's all about blurring that line that Jagex may or not see between real time play and botting.

    4. Although not always possible, be around your computer while macroing. Bots screw up, and whenever possible you need to be there to fix it. Solve a random event, respond to a chat because you forgot to turn private off, etc.

Some may not prefer to put this much thought into macroing. But taking your time and doing things wisely pays off IMO. Discuss.

    *sigh*

Another common sense guide. What's sad is that half the idiots who bot actually need things like this to be posted.

Common sense isn't so common around here. It's not so much a guide as it is me pointing out a few things I do myself.

and I felt like posting something, tbh.

It's a good guide for people who don't do this already or are new to botting. Another thing to add is to bot in the day on one of your local servers therefore more people will be playing at the time and you may not be noticeable.

    ^QFT.

I think someone should write a mega guide on common sense and logic, would help out over 50% of users.

It's been posted many times, but if people actually followed it would would have a lot more 99s and a lot less complaining.
I haven't had an account banned in about a year and a half following this, these guidelines are legit.

Those are part of RID's guidelines but you rephrased it in your own words so its not plagarising.

RID's guideline to bot is here

    You are correct.

I figured not everybody used RID, and/or wasn't as brilliant as you -- so I figured I would put it in there.

youd think if a user was able to find and download a botting client they would have the common sense to use it safely and not sit for 12 hours straight 'baby sitting' their bots then coming back a week later complaining that their banned
