Idk why people rage alot about bots.. They're great for the economy. They make everything cheaper. Thanks to bots 99 mage is only 13m.

OT: They may remove wcing or mining bots, or maybe ess bots, but they wont remove any p2p bots because they can't afford to.

 

They would lose thousands of dollars a month. They brought it back so they'd get more money, they won't even consider getting rid of it.

I honestly think they will eventually just give up on Runescape like they did on Funorb. They're gearing up to move on to things like Stellar Dawn and 8 Realms.

 

yup anyone with any bussiness experience will tell you jagex is planning to dump runescape for a new platform soon.

Runescape is still pulling in tons. They will keep it up as long as it's profitable. When they start laying off staff and closing servers to keep it profitable, then it might be almost time. It's nowhere near close to over though.

 

Only times i got banned for botting were when i first started botting with rsbot.org and used a shity flaxer lolol

 

I wish some of the Chinese goldfarming bots would get banned...

I'm gonna lol when jagex finally follows-through and has a bot genocide. First I'd laugh then I'd realize that all my bots are banned...

Then some of the legit people will come back, then there will be an era of noobs again.

But yea as I said, Jagex won't do that until they've lost so many legit players, which also makes them lose bots as less people demand gold.

 

Yeah this is why f2p bots are more banned than p2p bots.

I can't see jagex cracking down on bots anytime soon. They've said they have in the past and never did shit, they won't do anything now.

So many members accounts have botted, so if they banned all of them, they would lose so much money... it's not worth it for them to mass ban bots.

No it wouldn't this is just a common misconception, if bots are removed the supply of many raw materials would be gone, but so would the demand. If there are fewer people training combat fewer sharks will be needed, it worked out fine when Runescape wasn't infested with bots. Lets not forget most people playing Runescape are 10-13 year old kids and they will play even after they can't bot anymore.

Even if raw material prices go up everything would still even out. For example, atm you spend 10k on supplies to go train combat on some monsters that drop herbs and lets say you get 5 herbs in a trip and you sell them for 50k.
After bots the supplies would cost 30k but the herbs would sell for 150k.

 

tell me if im wrong but isnt jagex less strict on bots now a days, i heard they just reverse your stats and take your gp off your account, and if u get banned u can pay to unban it. Am i right

 

Pay to unban it? ...

 

Sometimes they unban you with negative credit. You have to pay off the credit and then you are able to play again.

It's not allowed for everyone though.
