Jagex is pretty damn smart.

1.back in 2006 or so a little bit before or after construction came out they posted a thread saying they finally had one million accounts.
2.now since the new runescape high detail was released they are saying

"130 million accounts created"
when the truth is that almost everybody on runescape has atleast 10 accounts or more. what those retards down see is that its the number of people playing your game,not the number of how many accounts created!!

3.there is no way in hell they were able to get 130million players.

-they ban thousands and millions of accounts a month.
-Jan. 12 2006, 5000 rsc accounts banned for cheating.
-Jan. 19 2006, 15000 rs accounts banned for cheating.
-Jan. 2 2004, 957 accounts banned for cheating.
-Dec. 12 2002, 400 accounts banned for cheating.
-still many people get banned today for bullshit they didn't do or..other things.
4.they got a new reporting system Sept. 11 2002.
THIS SYSTEM HAS GOTTEN OVER THREE FOURTHS OF RUNESCAPE ACCOUNTS/PEOPLE SCREWED.

-that huge-ass chunk of your life
-rares (possibly)
-all that money spent on membership and internet
-and much,much more has and will be lost.
5.people still continue to cheat. now with an "autoban" feature.
plus even the owner of scar says "as runescape updates we update."
meaning that they do not have a stable game that can be cheat-free.
6. those retards don't ban or mute people according to their timezone.

basicly you can be let out of your ban or mute earlier or later then intended too!!!
7.mod is practically impossible to get.

think about it. how many mods do you normally see? exactly.
truth is that only about...oh i'd say....1 IN 1 BILLION get to be one....

-have to be nice
-if you find glitches that could help...
-other more gay reasons...

lol and now the worlds economy is collapsing so they'll make even more money.

 

They're actually keeping the price the same, it's just that the dollar is worth less. Plus if they wanted to make a bigger profit, they would either change the price on the day of the new release, or the change the price a few days/weeks after the new release, because people would be WILLING to pay the higher price for the better features.
