Jagex getting smarter recently?

Both me and a friend have experienced slightly more bans lately, he says they are detecting our client to identify us as potential botters. Has anybody else had an uptick in ban rate? Has anything changed with their detection?

 

Are you thinking of any specific bot client? Botting since like forever has been a bumpy road.

 

Yeah, it also seems like they've started picking up on the ghost mouse / extreme AHK loopers recently as well.

 

Jagex's anti-botting system is just going to improve as time goes, just as expected. The only thing we can do is to adapt.

 

Mobile botting is the future! I bought 2 OnePlus Ones... Thought it was a deal, so I was hoping for 4, but only 2 came. Then I realized it was just a name of the phone.

 

Well considering ghost mouse just plays the same mouse movement over and over is anyone really suprised on getting banned.?

AHK looping scripts though , I don't know which script you are referring to here which got you banned ect. But I'm running a few AHK scripts I made won't say what for but they are running fine. I can run them 24 hours a day and I'm still not hitting bans at all.

 

From my personal experience, running a botting client would result in a rather quick ban (24 hours to a week)

In contrast, I was able to ghost mouse for 3 years on multiple accounts with no bans; I would record the exact loops and everything via ghost mouse.

Just very recently got permed on one account and a 2 day ban on another.

Check the thread on ghost mouse bans, theres a spike in users reporting bans from using ghost mouse.

One would think that looping a ghost mouse that clicks on the exact same pixels over and over, thousands of times, would be a quicker ban than a botting client with their so called built in "anti-bans" but I am positive the general consensus is that ghost mouse has a much less chance of being banned. They have recently started hitting users with bans. Just be careful. I thought I was invincible for 3 years.

 

I would never run a bot client now a days , considering the state of botting right now , its not worth it unless you are trying to run a massive bot farming Op even then not sure if its really worth the effort.

Yes ghostmouse is just a recorded mouse movement that plays over and over not 100% the same movement but basically. I would never use ghostmouse at all. You can create AHK scripts so much better and completely randomize pixels or areas you want to click on and add failsafes for what you are trying to achieve. But obviously there are limitations for AHK. But from what i have achieved with it i laugh at some of the posts on here i have read over the last week.

 

You are looping your AHK script and randomizing 5 nm x 5 nm pixels and think you are invincible? Yes, that's different than ghost mouse, but also easily detectable.

Main purpose of any given script? Repeat a task over and over. Confident I know exactly how it operates. People can hide behind the facade of their fancy anti-bans.

All I am saying is, be extra vigilant, there seems to be a banwave going around for users particular to us.

 

From what I have seen over the years Jagex has without a doubt gotten smarter at protecting their game integrity through banning cheating players. I don't know how bad it has gotten, but a couple years ago I have gotten banned multiple times where as years and years back I was unbanned with botting over 230M total XP.

This is just my personal opinion based off of my experiences.

 

So I mean the programs that record your mouse movements and copy what you do , what If you were too set it up , and legit alch for 6 hours . Then when you go too bot it , it's life like alching for you for 6 hours straight ?

with doing a long recording with a ghost mouse, what is the best way to align the screen? would clicking the compass to align norh before running it raise any red flags?
