This is why the pardon system is broken.

Someone can scam and after they've gained trust and somewhat of a reputation, they can admit the truth, just to get a slap on the wrist.

Bias plays strongly in to the decision for pardons as well. If the user wasn't Jack Goff but an unknown, I doubt they'd get any support at all.

It's unfair for our members as well as those scammed.

When did he prove he changed? When he posted the pardon today? So he hasn't changed until today, three years later? It shouldn't take three years to realize stealing $300 is a bad thing, THAT is common sense
