Whatever it is, I'm finding it hard to be satisfied with life. Everything I do, ultimately, is purposeless. None of it will matter when I am gone, aside from the subliminal impressions I have made on those who spend time with me, and the impressions that they pass on through the generations.

It's sad, but 90%, roughly, of the people I know couldn't tell you about their 2nd great grandparents lives, even their names. So this goes to show you how long it takes to be forgotten.

The collection of money seems to be the only constant I see with people. But let's get real, it's imaginary, only given value because we give it that value. The only reason money is important anymore is simply because you can not gather food without it. Even if you raise your own livestock, you have to buy your own land. Therefore, money is purposeless in the eyes of this beholder as well. I collect it for the increase in comfort in my life, and that alone.

I hold on to love, because it makes me feel complete. It is not my purpose.

Is purpose a lie? If there was a God, to make your life meaningful, why would it leave us so lost?

I am lost in this existence. Does anyone feel me?
