Ivy cutting FAIL >=/

Well, after AFK'ing Ivies for 4hours and getting over 120k+ xp. I realized I forgot to equip/bring my Daxe...Thought my terrible xp gain was due to my AFK'ing. So pissed right now; wasted 300k+ of potential xp.


Just wondering if anyone else did something similar lol...

No. I'm not that dumb to be honest.

and I would notice that almost immediately since I use Beavers and auras. Going in and out of equipment and inventory... be retarded not to notice.

 

How can you AFK ivies?

 

Quite easily..sound on for chopping noises. A large monitor or dual screen.

I had RS on one side and my work on the other monitor. Just clicked when the sound stopped.

 

So wait, do you have a Bronze Axe attached to your toolbelt, and that's the reason you didn't know?

 

If this is the case that's DEPRESSING lol, so much time wasted .

I guess it's lesson learned, check your axe!? Lol .

 

I've gone to SO MANY slayer tasks without the right equipment. Usually it's Gargoyles without a rock hammer, but a lot of them I bring a cannon without the ammo...

 

Or bandos without a hammer..

Yeah same here... or sometimes you forget to bring a raw chicken for black drags. :|

To OP: How did you not notice after like 1hour+ of cutting? Lol.

 

Check your axe next time

 

I did something similar once. Botted like all the way to 70 woodcut with a bronze hatchet. I had a rune one in the inventory, but at the time (and possibly still now), since the bronze hatchet was wielded, that was what it used to woodcut with even though i had the required woodcutting level to use the rune axe that was in the inventory.

So yeah lol.

 

I've made a few mistakes like that with the toolbelt too. Normally I pick it up after a few minutes though. But yeah normally you get there and can't do anything, but now you just start going through the motions and have to realise your hatchet isn't red or light blue.

Aha, you were using a bronze hatchet from your toolbelt. I've done this multiple times, except with different items. I usually picked up on this over a few minutes. But shouldn't you have noticed a brown, smaller hatchet chopping, and not a bigger, red hatchet?

 

^ These are the kinds of fails that I experience on a daily basis.

I don't know how many times I have walked all the way out to Revs, only to realize I forgot to switch my ROW to ROW (4) for an escape method, and I am literally going to have to walk out of there if a clan comes. Or when I geared up for a Waterfiend's task the other day and when I arrived, I realized I forgot both my bunyip pouches & super sets. >_<

 

I've done this before lol. One time i was going to afk bandits and forgot my guthans spear. <;p
