I've Cracked It.

I dont think some of you are understanding this right.

1. Buyer A buys some bone bolts. We will use his amount of 10million although it could be smaller. At 3 each these would cost 30 million.

2. Seller B trades buyer A and buys all of the bolts for 5 each. This would be allowed as it is the market price.

3. Buyer A is now up from 30mil to 50mil, thus transferring 20mil.

4. Seller B now puts the bolts back into the exchange for 3 each. Recycling back into the system. They then after buying all of the bolts for 50mil, will sell for 30mil, and will be short the 20mil they sold.

It works. I cant see any problem with it unless it changes the price of bone bolts or the buyer is f2p. It would be done with many types of items though.

Problems :

The buyer would have to first accuire 10 million bolts...which will be hard to get since they sell in caps of 50k ea....

The buyer will have to sell the bolts afterwards, which I don't know if he will be albe to do instantly...

The seller would probably buy someone elses bolts that sold at g.e for 3 ea,so he gets his 20m difference back....

You and others obviously still don't get it. All your reasons are void, so read below.

Person A is the buyer, person B is the seller. A is buying 20M. That would mean, using the bone bolts examples. A would have to have 30M, B would have to have 50M.

A buys 10M bone bolts at the minimum price, in this case, 3 GP each. That will cost him 30M GP. How he acquires them, does not matter. He could buy all through GE, he could buy 5M from another player and 5M from the GE.

So, now A has 10M bone bolts and they cost him 30M GP.

He walks up to B. They both trade.

A puts up 10M bone bolts, B puts up 50M GP. They complete the trade.

A now has 50M GP, he used to have 30M GP, meaning he successfully bought 20M GP.

B now has 10M bone bolts.

NOW HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART!

You all are saying, well yeah, it works great, but now B is stuck with 10M bone bolts which he won't be able to sell.

WRONG! He does not have to sell them.

He finds another buyer, let's say for 20M GP again. B trades his 10M bone bolts to the buyer, let's call him C in this instance. C puts up 30M GP.

Now, C has 10M bone bolts, and they can repeat the steps above. Another successful transaction. The only drawback is the buyer and seller must have more GP on them, then they are buying. If they don't, they could also do multiple trades.

This idea has been mentioned before, you just explained it a bit better, and I hope I explained it in depth enough for everyone to understand. As long as you're not just a one time seller, or a single trade, this works flawlessly.

i came up with it also, but i found out too much time, who would want to do it only 20m profit, and jagex will fix this

20M GP profit? No, you could do it in any amount. The numbers and items used were only to represent any low priced bulk item.

It is impossible for Jagex to fix it. The only way they could fix it would be to do one or two things.

Make each item have one static price, meaning no 5% what so ever. ONE PRICE, which defeats their whole GE update in the first place.

Or second, cap how many items you can have at a time, meaning they would make it so the max of any items you can have, let's say is 20,000. I couldn't have any more than 20,000 whips, 20,000 ashes, or coal, and so on, in my inventory and bank combined.

Once again, not happening.

nope you still can trade i got an unbtable method but it is a bit different,
altho with your method, many noobs put their items at highest price it would be tooo risky to buy it all off at once

finally a use for the 10 million bone bolts I have lying around in my bank

And to completly fuck everyone over, and put an end to this thread.
You can't make more then 3k profit or loss whilst trading

For a trade to be 'balanced', the total value of the items being given must be within 3,000gp of the items being received. For example you WOULD be allowed to trade an item worth 15,000gp for an item worth 17,000gp (because the DIFFERENCE is less than 3,000gp). You will be limited to a 3,000gp gain or loss every 15 minutes.

5th paragraph down.

this is impossible to work there are lots of ppl just putting up their bolts for sale at 5gp ea as way to merchant there is a high chance the seller will get other peoples and not all 10m bolts of the buyers. But its a good merchanting idea. O i also think that 3-30k limit works on GE,jages aint that stupid

what about player B dieing to an NPC then player A picks up his cash?

Isn't it slow for small amounts like 2 or 3million?

Yes, Covey is right. But there is still a method around this.
We just have to find an item that no one sells.
With some digging, we should be able to find a specific thing that we need.
But aquiring that item would take alot of time if no one sells it...

There is a way just under my finger. Don't worry guys, we'll crack this.

doesnt mattter what item u guys find to trade that no1 else does...u cant make more then 3k profit or u cant lose more then 3k in 15 mins...so either way if u made 3k profit ur done
