Item Lending Glitch Thread

damnit lol my friend jsut let me borrow his ags

that gs one, is really good, whoever originally found it must be realllllly happy right now.

 

why glitch it tbh
my freind is letting me use his ags for 24 hours because hes quit rs so he lets me go on his accounnt and lend it to my self its awesome !!!

 

The godsword never worked. Jagex was well aware BEFORE the update not to allow the godsword to be dismantled.

I don't care what leet_range thinks his friend did, but even the development diaries stated that a godsword could not be dismantled.

You can't even break a pickaxe or lent axe, trust me, Jagex isn't that thick and took the time. Still, we are looking for glitches and are exploring potential avenues.

 

I think Jagex is pretty much checked over every inch of this update so they won't get flamed for being responsible for the players losing their items.

 

I read this on the forums:
Yes, there is already someone who found a glitch with the item lending. Dont tell me to talk to banker or anything. Just DO NOT lend until JaGex fixes this.

I don't know how to do it, neither do I want to know. I suggest whoever finds out how to do it, don't do it. I'm sure JaGex is tracking all lent items to be safe.

Summary: DO NOT lend items.

So it's lead me to believe there is still a way to do this. I'm currently approaching the problem from multiple avenues.

1. Somehow returning the item early, and tricking Jagex into duping.
2. Getting the item where's it's no supposed to be, somehow either BH or when you die with abyss skull (will not work alone)
3. Modifiying the item- seems less and less probably, the coding seems to have failsafes against that.
4. Keeping an item - Seems less and less probable as well.

 

Theres bound to be one. There has to be.

I guarentee you.But.. Only people who are good at bug abusing have a brief idea what to do..

To be good at bug abusing you need to just test things out before without doing the main point, like testing out a quest before u bundle all the item lending with it.. you need to see what happens before then try and mix it in..

Its very hard and no i probably wont find this bug.

i almost had the gs glitch.. but they fixed it just before i found out.

 

well i dont think there will be any glitches to be able to keep an item or be able to kate it where ur not aloud unless its a long glitch in a quest and dealing with other stuff.

Has anybody noticed that if you demand your item back (you'll get it back) and the lender still has his bank open, that the lended item will still show up in his bank untill he closes the bank window?

got an idea! Try sets ;] lol i dunno

 

and what if u note the item??? think about it...its not the item, just the note so they might actually duplicate

 

just tried notes and sets they both dont work...

 

i have a friend that is really good at glitches. he hasent been on all day but im sure he could definatly find any glitch that involves this.
