Is turmoil worth the cost?

Thanx everyone, I was thinking of maybe try some high risk rushing. Full bandos firecape and claws. Think turm makes a difference? lvl 114 cb btw.

 

Like I already said, Turmoil will make a difference in the frequency in which you hit and make a difference on how high you hit.

 

Turmoil is great, yes you can use piety but curses are always better.

The deflect curses are great, soul split is absolutely brilliant and then Turmoil tops it off with just plain awesomeness.

 

Ancient curses are superior to normal prayers in almost every way.

 

It is totally worth it..get it, period.

 

You should also get turmoil before extremes/overloads too imo. Turmoil is a once off cost of around 80m. It costs that just to get to the level of extremes, let alone make them. Extremes/ovls are still fucking awesome though

 

It's definitely worth it for PvP. My main is 133 with Piety and I have no chance against someone my level with Turmoil.

Ok ive got 92 prayer so far, i can almost taste it now!

 

like someone else said depends on what you do , for example i usually only like to pk , i have overloads and honestly for me is stupid as i dont use em cuz i pk 99 percent of the time in the other hand i dont have turm and i notice with out it in the wildly my maxed zerker fails so im getting it aswell, but i used the overloads for quest and it's extremely useful , it all depends

 

Yes, great all around for PvM, PvP etc. Helps a lot.

 

How long did it take for 70-92 prayer so far? Also what method you using, i also want turmoil so badly

 

It took me approx 3 days with frost dragons at my poh. Guessing it would take around 6 days with frost dragons.

 

74-95 prayer cost me 70M, buying 35,000 infernal ashes at exactly 2k each (at the time they were 2200 ea, so I let the offer sit in GE for a week and they slowly bought in increments).

So I imagine 70-92 would be around the same price. As far as I know, ashes are actually CHEAPER than 2k each now, and dragon bones are just barely above what the price of ashes used to be. Turmoil is VERY affordable right now so I would highly reccomend buying it if you can!

I almost have turm for the first time on my barrows pure I got 4 more prayer levels to go (got it all banked), and just a few more skill/quest requirements to meet before I can do Temple at Sennisten. I'm very excited!

 

Also good to note the benefits of having basically unlimited pray

 

Definitely worth it, whether or not your spending your entire bank. I slayered in prossy, turm, and extremes all the way to 99. Forget bandos and any other distraction.

Dragon Bones are becoming increasingly less expensive, an all-time low in rs history actually.

 

Defiantly, Its pretty cheap now anyway. Once you get it you will be in love with it. I used to hate being on that slayer task or something when you have only like 10 more monsters to kill and your out of food, now i just use ss and its easy, + turm makes me hit so much better, i use it on every task and now i can hit pretty good with a dds instead of hitting the rare 150 200 with piety.

 

Now i've finally reached the goal. 95 prayer and turm, and i must admit.....
