Is there anyone that lends gold?

I remember seeing on a flipping forum a long time ago (may have been SmokinMills) that really rich people would lend you some of their gold to flip with and then you'd have to pay them back plus like 5% interest.

I haven't seen anything like this cause it's just asking to get scammed, but it would be really cool if there was a way around that.

 

Pretty sure its against the rules to ask for money. Saw it back at Smokingmills too though.

 

Do you remember what they did to combat scams?

 

They only lend to reputable members and with a max value of some kind.

 

Doubt you’ll find anyone here that’ll lend you gold especially without having any rep. However if they did you’d probably need to give some form of government ID. The risk/reward factor just doesn’t weigh up.

 

i think their should be a deposit in terms of something that you can give doesn't have to currency, maybe something tangible

 

I was thinking what if you had to give them like csgo keys or something as a deposit, but at that point you're basically just buying gold

 

The amount of scammers in the community, I doubt anyone feels safe loaning money.

you're gonna need some rep before anyone is willing to lend or do anything. its all about who you know...

 

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone that will lend you anything in this world without collateral, especially on the internet. If you have a massive rep then that can count as collateral.

 

Sounds like a pretty strange thing to do. Why would you lend somebody money in the hope the give it back?

 

Don't think u will find lends from anyone.
