Is there any way to build rs bots with visual basic?

This is my freshman year in highschool, and next week will be my 5th week. I am taking a full year course on computer programming which is Visual Basic this year. I was just wondering if it is possible for visual basic to pick up colors and such and bot the game for people. A simple yes or no answer is all I need so far because I am not that advanced with VB yet, all I really know how to do so far is to click a button or a radio button and have a label change or close the program lol.

 

There are a few ways you can do that. You can control the mouse, get the colors of pixels at certain points on the screen or on the mouse, etc. I think that's what you're looking for?

 

Yes it is possible, But I do not think you could reinact RSbot with Vb.

Yes, that is very possible, the only thing is, is that on top of you doing the cursor, color grabber, etc... You need to do a camera rotator and possibly every so often something that will look at your stats so that way you have a little custom Anti Ban.

 

It sounds impossible now, but it will probably be much easier for me once I finish the year course. It would be cool to build a small little bot that kills guards or something within the internet browser instead of a separate window.

 

You will never be able to create as complex of a bot as something the same magnitude of RSBot simply because it uses Java within the game client itself and is much more easily interacted with. Why don't you just learn Java and create your own RSBot scripts?

 

I will probably eventually learn java, my current course at school is teaching me visual basic currently, so I guess that can be an introduction for me, and then I could probably go and learn java by myself. But, I also heard there is some club at my high school that offers learning java after school on Wednesdays or something, I may have to check that out.

 

Bots made in C++ And VB are the best bots around. Although vb bots do take alot of time, there is tons of ways to do it. I never see any sites selling them no more but around '06 that's what 80% of the botters used.

If you want to pour alot of time into one, their great, but java is 50x faster.

 

Yes you could, with VB.net at least. Just look at Scionbot, it was made in C# and was pretty damn good for the amount of time the developers spent on it

Um, I think there's only 1 or 2 known bots made in C++, and the reason why 95% of bots were made in VB is because VB was easy to learn and it was effective at the time. Now, it would be quite the task to make something in VB6 that would meet the requirements to not get banned and perform a task efficiently.

SCAR is in pascal, therefore yes
