Is Summoning Worth Raising Now?

Well during the PVP update they also updated the way summoning is calculated into your combat level. My question is, is it worth leveling that skill now? We all know by leveling it the combat level is all ugly (75+6) but is it worth it? As when we are higher levels in summoning can we use good familars to help us out but still fight in PVP with people withen your combat level range?

I am level 68 combat with 1 summoning, if i get let's say...50 summoning will i still be 68 and fight people around that level?

 

wif you gonna use your fammiliar your combat WILL add up. if you're 75 +6 normally, you will be 81 with familiar (yes 81 and not 75+6) so.. basically, you will be able to fight higher level opponents, and won't be able to fight lower ones...

 

Summoning doesn't mean anything in PVP worlds say your 66 combat without it you get maybe 20 levels get + 3 in pvp worlds you will be 66 cb + 3 which really means nothing at all.

 

Alright, the others were a bit confusing to me so maybe this'll help.

Say you're 75 without the summoning, 80 with.

You can fight anyone as if you're lvl 75, but as soon as you have a pouch in your inventory or summon a familiar, you can only fight others that in lvl 80 range.
